My mental health is in shambles, I'm dealing with a burn-out, I'm waiting for antidepressants to work, and I don't really know when or if I will recover But somehow the chorus of this song makes me feel like I will recover. It makes me feel like I will get better, that life will get better. That I will get at that point again where I can enjoy life, where I have things that I want to and can do. Thanks, Andy, for this wonderful song.

@Big Scoot but this is still one of his easiest songs. I only have the problem here that my fingers get tired at the 3:57 section, but it gets better and better. I recommend to purchase backing tracks and tabs (aj guitar academy and yeti records site) and practice it every day. Your progress will be very huge.
This is unbelievably beautiful. I’ve never heard a guitarist place every single note, so perfectly within a song. Not a single wasted stroke.

Completely agree. I discovered this song 3 months ago and have listened to it over 200 times since. I picture it being played while the credits roll at the end of a movie after a team scores the winning touchdown. It sort of has that “One Shining Moment” vibe they always play at the conclusion of the NCAA tournament in March.
This man is a legend
Andy, thank you...
This is the first time I'm hearing this, and Goddamn, I can't get over how sublimely sad and transcendent it is. I've listened to it about 20 times already, and the tears just flow, reminds me of all the mistakes and painful pasts I've experienced, the scars that feel like they will never heal. Thank you so much for this song, it already means so much to me, and I've only heard it an hour or so ago.

One of the best guitarist ever in my opinion.
Andy with another amazing song. Never disappointed with anything he puts out.
This is so good. I remember feeling like this when I first heard Satriani playing flying in a blue dream. Then I learned to play it note for note. This will be a good one to learn. I think guitar like this helps you really learn to reach people on human level. I never stop believing in the creation of “the hook.” One should be able to hum the refrain and you can do that here. Super good work here. It’s a 10 in my book.
I'm a year late but every single measure on this song has a purpose and unique character. It's literally perfect
This masterpiece always tell me that even you've through the hardest time on your life. . Everythings will always gonna be okay... Thank you andy
I'm not crying, you're crying.
Andy is GOAT!!!!!!
He is so calm when playing. Finger tapping and moving his head to drum beat. Hes in tune with himself
Listening to this song makes you feel you’re walking in the rain in the middle of the night. It’s very sorrowful and gives you a feeling of defeat. Can’t see how you’ll pick this song on a happy occasion. But i love it. Masterpiece.

Seeing guitarists play at this level and looking like it’s nothing always amazes me. For the life of me I can never feel relaxed while trying to play anything fast.
@xtraspecialj
4 жыл бұрын
The first job I had was at a music store and the manager was an AMAZING guitarist that could absolutely shred and he was completely relaxed at all times. He even told me once that the key to being able to play like that is to always practice relaxed. The problem most guitarists have is they try to play fast before they can play well. He said to always concentrate on playing slow and accurate. Get your fingers to play the correct notes at the correct time and always focus to make sure each note sounds clear and concise. He said if you constantly practice at being perfect and slow with no tension in your fingers that speed will come naturally over time. He said it took him years before he could play fast. That's what it takes unfortunately. Practice slow and relaxed and let the speed come naturally over months and years. Most people just aren't patient enough to practice like that because it's extremely boring, but that is what it takes in the long run.

Cpl weeks for me. Found him playing with Gus G and delved in. I've Always been a huge satch fan plus I love heavy metal to the max. This guy is pretty great now he is at the top of my list too. No body does instrumentals cause theres no money in it and its a hard place to try fit in next with the greats. I think he would get an awesome response if he had the opportunity to play the G3 tour. That would write his legacy in stone for sure.
thank you Andy James, for never stop making music like this..
this is so clean it killed 100% of the germs, great tune, unbelievable technique not to mention the enormous feeling and such beautiful melody and good taste
This song's beauty is unreal! It gives me chills!
This and "The Wind That Shakes The Heart" are two of my all time favorite songs. I've never heard anyone sing with a guitar the way you do. The way you used the that blues note at 3:52 slayed me. Your ability to portray your feelings through a six stringed electric guitar are the reason why I listen to music. Thank you.
