Hello everyone, If you are getting an error "ERROR: x86 emulation currently requires hardware acceleration!" when trying to run the simulation, I solved this issue in the following steps: 1. Enable the Intelx86 Emulator Accelerator (HAXM Installer). To get to this, on Android Studio, go to Tools->SDK Manager->SDK Tools (Tab towards the top). See if "Intelx86 Emulator Accelerator (HAXM Installer)" is Installed and checked. If not, do so. 2. Check if your processor has Virtualization Technology. I have an Intel processor and was able to look up my specific processor on the Intel website to see if it does have it. 3. Enter your BIOS settings to enable your Intel Virtualization Technology. This may be different depending on what machine you have but this is can be a quick Google search. For my Windows machine, I was able to enter this through the Update and Security-> Recovery settings. After setting your BIOS settings, it'll restart your computer and then try to run the simluation again.

Also if you run on AMD, it has different Virtualization software. Don't know why Android Studio installs HAXM by default

unfortunately, android studio is a beast. If you click on ANYTHING before achieving HelloWorld, you will have to redownload it. I am dead serious. Android Studio is so freakin scary, that if you mess anything up, you will spend days on stackoverflow to have any chance of getting it working. It is satisfying when AndroidStudio works, which is its only saving grace. It literally took me 15 years to get even mediocre at AndroidStudio. Gradle, Maven, wholy crap it is like a video game in itself. Perhaps thats the hook, you will feel the rush of Fortnite, but in reality you are single stepping thru Java........ You can do it Edsel.

Nice touch with the voice treatment, but the voice panning feels like it was panned 20% to the right, try centering your voice in the stereo image. This balance issue could be caused by different dry/wet settings on a multi-mono reverb plugin, so try using a linked or mono to stereo plugin instead. There are many possible ways to fix it though.. but the stereo reverb gives it a nice spread/auditorium effect, so I wouldn't just mono the whole thing. Thanks for the video!

Thanks for the feedback! I think the issue is fixed with my latest videos. About a decade ago I bought a Zoom H2. That's what I've been using for these videos. I'd place the mic slightly to my left, which is why it wasn't balanced. Now I use a lav mic which I think works fine and I've thought about getting a shotgun mic. Hopefully the issue is fixed. Sorry about that!

I have a file name "second fragment" which shows another screen with a button names "previous". I'm not sure if its something I did accidentally or is it because of the new update

I know HTML, CSS and JS and also some PHP and MySql since I've been doing some web development. Android Studio emulator won't run on Windows with an AMD processor. The error message is kind of misleading, as it suggests the problem is with the CPU. But it is within the troubleshoot message: "Windows/OSX computer with an Intel processor".

Try opening Logcat, setting it to "Error" and see what it says. Sometimes it will display the error message. Sometimes it's easy to understand and other times it's not. Hope that helps.
