Airserver is better for streaming because OBS accepts it as a Windows Program. It can be displayed in 4K which helps the quality and it has settings that enchant the quality of the mirroring with sharpening graphics instead blurry. I use Airserver with my Xiaomi Mi 9 👌🏻

Any ideas for mirroring more than one device from a single android device …. Like from note9 to PC and smart tv

When using the built in Windows mirroring function, for me it automatically goes into full screen and I don't see a way to make the window smaller so I can use obs. Do you know how to fix this? Thanks

You didn't cover how to connect an android to a TV with an Hdmi cable. I've done it with my ipad no problem. Now I want to use my connector cable to connect my phone to my TV not computer while watching KZread. It doesn't connect

Yeah, the other way is to use any computer screen recording software like snagit, camtasia or screenflow to record miracast

What about when there's no wifi network present? IE no router. I want to use one phone screen as a remote monitor while my better newer phone is recording video on a gimbal mounted on an extension boom a couple of meters long. The "receiving" phone is on a simple bracket near the bottom of the boom. So I can see exactly what is being recorded and so avoid wasting recording time with badly framed shots. Make sense? The phones are both Galaxy types, an S8 doing the shooting on the gimbal and an S6 as monitor screen only.. Can a mere wifi link between these phones accomplish the above?

I love chromecast mirror quality ever since I managed to upgrade my home wifi. For years it had dropouts in a matter of seconds/minutes when previously mirroring. I still try to keep discrete looking hdmi chords around in each room for wired phone mirroring for even better mirror quality, latency, as a backup method, & mabye for dex once my Galaxy S10 arrives. I never thought my chromecast ultra would work this well without investing into using the ethernet port in the stock wall adapter.

Chromecast mirroring is mediocre at very best under best conditions. It's responsive but quality is low. And no way to choose speed preference vs quality. Typical google mower days. As good as appleshit minimalism just apple has way way better attention to detail. But i didn't try chromecast ultra, maybe ultra is a biit better.

Whenever I'm casting my phone through Miracast, the laptop mirrors the rotation of all the apps except the camera unlike what's shown in the video. Any clues?

Go To Your Settings And Turn On Screen Mirroring It Should Work You Need To Doing While Your Trying To Mirror Because The Opion Won't Show Up If Your Not

What can u suggest for having landscape log. The HDMI works good and smooth but if will turn to landscape its got looged and does not work anymore :(

Hi Justin, I downloaded reflector 3 and am trying to mirror my iPhone 11 Pro Max to my MacBook Air running Catalina 10.15.6. I manage to mirror it but the mirrored phone freezes at 3 seconds whilst the actual phone keeps recording. Any ideas? PS I love your videos.

If my android cell (I'm not using a laptop juat a android cell and roku) has smart view, why I so I air server or the other one? If it is needed, is there a good free one? All I wanna do if watch youtube videos on a bigger screen. I'm not recording or anything. I'm doing the screen mirroring now and there is a lot of glitchy with the audio. Anyway to fix that?

So i have a moto g7 Play with android 10, and i can CAST from the KZread app, but when i go to CAST from the Options it says NO DEVICES NEARBY. restarting my roku, my phone, my router, my modem doesnt fix it. YES the devices can see and communicate because if it can see the device from the KZread app ut should be able to see the device from the SETTINGS! Never ever had issues like this with android 9 and lower Any REAL help would be just great.

Reflector 3 is not available for Chromebook. Reflector 2 has horrendous reviews averaging at 1.3 stars. I would prefer to use a great mirroring app rather than buying more external hardware (Chromecast). Any recommendations?

Is there any way to hide the cast icon while casting as hidden?

Do you get audio from the android phone to play on the computer or is it just screen?

is it possible to do some screen mirroring between 2 telephones (via bluetooth or WIFI) but none of them being connected to Internet ? (well, yes, just the time for downloading the relevant app ...). For exemple I can't make AirDroid work without one of the phones at least connected to Internet.

On KZread, search "Google Remote Desktop" and look for the video by "Cam Shand". It's actually super quick and easy to get set up and use. The basic gist is you have to add the Remote Desktop extension by Google to your Chrome on your Laptop/PC, then download the app on your phone. And then after a few checks like making sure the same email account is being used on your phone and the chrome on your laptop and that both devices are on the same wifi network then bada bing bada boom you can now basically remote into your laptop from your phone with full control. My main use for this is when I need to use my laptop to watch something but I want it on the TV screen, I connect the laptop to the TV with an HDMI (I don't have a smart TV unfortunately) and then use this to control when I decide to switch to something else, skip intros & outros etc. without having to get off the couch every 20 mins.

Is there any solution to have touch screen on second monitor? Like control phone but in bigger screen (like android auto?)

Does Reflector 2 still work if your WiFi card don't support Mirror cast? I have windows 10 and its updated. When I click Connect it has option to Projecting to this PC but it say This Device doesn't support receiving Miracast, so you can't project to it Wirlesly

Thanks for the info. What I am looking for is some way of live mirroring an app from 1 Android tablet to 3 others. To be precise, 1 app running GuitarSongs as a "master" and the 3 other tablets need to run as "slaves" - seeing exactly what the Master is running. (for a 4 piece band). Any ideas please !
