The HW overlays were already disabled. My phone, an android LG K20 PLUS, has for two to three days, when I am reading an article linked from Google, my screen will flash orange (with 2 white dots scattered), then static. It will do this for a maximum of 3 seconds before returning to normal. Read on another site the screen connecter may be loose from the motherboard. Any suggestions/ideas? Should I get a new phone? It is a few years old. Never dropped in water, screen protector has been off for a while, and like most phones that have been owned for several years it's been dropped a fair amount of times.

i dont have a hardware overlays but i do have force gpu rendering should i enable that?

Thanks for your reply... Hardware overlay option ah click panni enable pannuka... Note : Intha settings Ella model phone kum 100% work aakathu... It is based on your RAM storage... If u have low storage, flickering comes again.... Maintain minimum 1gp free space to avoid this problem. Thank you
