Just got a 2024 highest trim, but can't find anyway to do wireless android auto connection. This is a crazy letdown. I would have paid an extra "special fee" if it is about licensing or something. WIFI chips are not very expensive these days, so it makes no sense that they don't allow or provide this functionality. Now I'll probably have to find some cruddy third party hardware solution. I can't believe in 2024 this is still going on.

@@jeetsingh4158 Just received the 2024 Kona Ultimate - Deffo got Android Auto via Wireless. Thnk there is an update that may need to run. In the UK here.

The only Hyundais that have wireless android auto currently are the ones with the new 12.3in screen setup. I traded my 2024 Kona SEL convenience in for a 2024 Elantra N line, and now I don't have wireless android auto anymore

Oh my, is this true? No wireless Android Auto anymore? Still the case even after firmware updates or something? I'm about to buy a Hyundai Elantra 2023 or 2024... but if there's only "wired" Android Auto I won't buy that car... No way...

When will the 2024 Elantra receive the wireless Android Auto update in the US? Purchased in November 2023 and was told that by Q1 2024 the update would have been pushed. Still nothing as of today. How can I update this?

Doesn't work for me with a 2019 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited

It works only wired hyndai need to ensure wirless feature works in every car

I have a 2020 elantra. Android 14 on my phone. Tried several different usb cables. Nothing works. It's frustrating

Doesn't work with the Kona N line 2024!! What the heck?! I have the same display, same steering wheel, it looks like I have the same but I can't keep android ajto OR iPhone Car Play without a cable!!! What's the point of having a charging station if you neep the phone plug in?!?!

Yes, but only if you have lower version with no in-built navigation.

It does not work. This is ridiculous. I will not by a Hyundai anymore.

Rumour has it that if there is a sat nav on the car, then Bluetooth wireless android auto will not work ( although phone pairing for calls, music etc does work through the Blue link system). As everyone else says, this is VERY annoying, and made worse by not telling us. Like others, I have for many hours pointlessly tried to fathom what is wrong, when other cars link easily. Hyundai needs to get its act together.
