I was sooo waiting for his reaction to 17 blasting them in the face. I grew up with things like sailor moon so that tongue and cheek blast was hilarious.

You should always let your opponent go full power. Look at Frieza transformation from 1st form to final form every damage he took it disappeared with the next transformation. So if you go all out & than ur tired this person got 3 transformation left your screwed

That is actually a hidden ability that freeza has , every time he transforms he completely regenerates all the physical damage that had be done to him prior , it is explained in the manga I believe

As much as I love 17 I still can never get over the fact that not only did they bring him back out of nowhere they also made him more relevant than both piccolo and gohan, the 2 main and most popular Z fighters after goku and vegeta.

I think its realistic, 17 is aggressive and will seek out fights therefore getting more screen time, Gohan and Piccolo stayed grouped together for most of the TOP and played defensive actively avoiding fights

@@Uknowjusticemill piccolo trains arguably far more than 17 has and yet piccolo was hardly even ssj level in the tournament. While 17 gives blue level characters a good fight. Even though in Z they were basically equals. Then he basically makes gohan look like an idiot multiple times in the tournament and is clearly shown to be far smarter strategist than gohan. Who's whole point was being the Team captain and best one at making plans. But 17 outclassed him in almost every area. It's not really that realistic. It's on par with frieza training for 4 months and being stronger than blue on the ROF arc. Hell it might be even worse than that.

Both piccolo and gohan had more than enough relevance in the ToP so I don't see the problem. Isn't it a good thing that other characters aside from the most popular get a time to shine and to this extent.
