The volume page still minimizes by the way. However it only does so and has the option to expand when media is being played. I assume Google figures you're more likely to be adjusting the other volume sliders when you're not playing media.

If Samsung doesn't kill it with their animations with android 15 and ONEUI 7,that the 24Ultra will be the last Samsung phone I will ever use .

While you're playing media, the volume controls are automatically minimized.

I know most people will disagree but I wish we got updated status bar icons or an option to ... It doesn't look like we're going to, however 😢

Excatly that is the most disapointing android version without updating the Status bar with new togles like it is on S24 Ultra or the Xperia 1VI . Their is still a bit hope that Google consider this when they release the finale version of android 15 .

Volume menu media minimization is still present. However it's only present when media is being played.

What about the redesigned icons in status bar?

OnePlus follows a different release schedule than Pixels when it comes to shipping experiment Android 15 releases. You should check in on them.

Android 15 is a massive overhaul. Its our first trunk stable yearly release and the difference between baseline 14 and 15 is vast as a result. You will be missing out on hundreds of important changes, many security and privacy related. If you are using a Pixel device using 14 QPR2 or QPR3, then you are effectively closer to Android 15 than 14. A lot of the unreleased/incompleted functionality is disabled using feature flags but present in the QPR2/3 code.

Circle to Search is on my phone; however, the other "keep screen on" option is NOT on my phone. S23, 6.1, June 2024 update.

On my pixels 6a hotspot is not turning on when I restart my phone then it's work and after sometime it's not turning on again

Every little change Samsung makes to One UI makes porting to newer upstream Android Open Source Project releases harder. Ultimately new features like the upcoming desktop mode should make porting much easier and decrease that workload. Though a lot of this pressure is relieved because they are an Android partner and have early access to the Android 15 source. But it is nice to have. They should port to QPRs like Google though at the very least.
