I LOVE to hear what Andrew Zimmern says. His show and his culinary point of view is thorough and sincere. He has the kind of credibility that all celebrity chefs wish they had. It was only a matter of time before we Americans made celebrities out of chefs. You can survive without rock music but you can't survive without food so why not eat food made by a rock star - enter Guy Fieri. You can thank the French for joining the concepts of celebrity and cooking.

Andrew is one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. He is so likeable but also intellectually is incredibly circumspect. No snobbery .

I am sure the Food Network pushed Guy to do whatever they wanted him to do.

I love Andrew, he's democratic and articulate about the Fieri brand and it's effect on food and dining in New York and America. "everyone makes fun of Guy [...] he has to be that way" he's the villian we all need haha

Hmmm. I really respect Andrew, but I don't think this was actually a "review", he was just talking about Guy not reviewing him or his restaurant.

Guy is a fun and entertaining personality. Sometimes goofy but still enjoyable to watch. I personally wouldn't go to one of his restaurants just because of the type of food they offer.

I respect Andrew, the man is fearless. But he's being protective here and is going out of his way to praise. I'd rather hear Gordon Ramsay's opinion about Guy and watch the roast burn. "it's rawr you idiot!"

A restaurant near me was reviewed by Guy. No one goes there and has not for years because of food issues, cleanliness issues, and just a poorly run business. A real con job by the owner to get Guy to review.

Watching people eat food as entertainment is a bit bizarre . I prefer reading cookbooks or UTUBE to learn about cooking. Having worked in restaurants as a youth I tend not to eat in them.

I used to be a huge fan of Guy but info has come out about his arrogance and rudeness to some of the restuarant owners. True, he's a showman and for the most part he's good at it! But careful attention. There are times where you can see that nasty side of him rears its ugly head! At the same time, it's so common to see these types of behaviors when people reach a certain status. Sad but sooo true!

I lost all respect for Guy when he took his son on a culinary tour of Greece and wore a t-shirt emblazoned with an automatic rifle through the whole segment. Way to perpetuate the American gun nut stereotype. No way he and his crew didn't think through that decision.

Guy Fieri sounds like a pompous jerk; Andrew Zimmern was trying too hard here to change the focus to popularity, fame, and power rather than character, integrity, and respect, which really defeats the point about commenting on him

Guy is only what he is bc he won a stupid cooking contest on food channel which has become a ridicules medium for food. I never watch it anymore. I loved Anthony Bourdain RIP and Andrew is ok too...but Guy? What a joke...and Guy how much jewelry do u need...
