I also appreciate the use of a good raggedy, manky brush. In a condition arrived at through much painting. Milton Resnick used wonderfully thrashed brushes. One shouldn't abuse ones brushes, although neither do they need to be treated as such precious objects. Thanks for taking the time to share your process, cheers

G'day Miroporvos I buy cheap non nylon so called house painting brushes and cut into them with a blade until distressed, hence manky. I do look after my sables as such. Anything to make marks,,,,,,, enjoy

I just love Andrew Wyeth’s work.....his first show I believe he sold everything! I like how fast you work and how all those colors blend so well, it makes the painting more interesting. Never have seen that scruffy looking brush before.....it’s pretty cool! Glad I found you and looking forward to more of your tutorials.....Cheers🤗🌹

Very technical artists, who don't get to "Oooo and ahhh" over their work, like you did when you hit below the houses with that orange...they are missing out! I struggle with that sometimes. Thanks for inspiring me to be bold in my painting!

G'day Liz Be the eternal child and enjoy what happens when you let go, beautiful and liberating. What is a mistake, nothing to write home about. Practise and fail a bit, practise and fail a little better. Nick ideas off art you like, and slowly slowly confidence will come, joyful Cheers

I think if the camera was more above the paper, there would be less selection on the wet paper. Although you are thorough on explaining the colors you are using, I think it would be helpful in seeing the strokes and how they interact. Blessings.

Seems folks like them I nicked ideas off Wyeth, Hopper, Homer and others teaching myself moons ago, love them though I no longer paint as I used to. I still much enjoy demoing them. Cheers
