In this bonus episode of the Jacob Sheriff Podcast, I had the privilege of sitting down with my friend Andrew Wommack to have a conversation about his life and experience. It was an awesome chance to learn from someone who has a lifetime of ministry experience and who I know has devoted their life to being a disciple of Jesus. We talked about a lot of things and I know you'll enjoy this chance to hear some great stories. We talked about the different movements he has been a part of and what the difference is between a movement and an awakening.
Andrew even shared some wild stories of deliverance ministry and dealing with demonic possession early in the Charismatic Movement. We talked about what it means to mature in Christ and how disciplines can actually become life-giving habits that keep us connected to Jesus rather than heavy burdens to bear. I hope you enjoy listening to this conversation as much I did having it.

About Jacob:
Jacob Sheriff has dedicated his life to being transformed into the likeness of Christ. As a second-generation pastor, he has been blessed to have been introduced to the Gospel and have a relationship with Jesus from a young age. Jacob has been a part of the pastoral team at Victory Life Church since 2005, and now serves as the Senior Lead Pastor. He has had such radical encounters with the power of God that seeing people transformed by Jesus has become his life’s mission. The most significant part of the call of God on Jacob’s life is to his incredible wife, Hannah, and their five children. They are committed to raising their children to be disciples of Christ. In his free time, you can find Jacob reading, studying, enjoying good coffee, and backpacking. He is a Holy Spirit gifted communicator in sharing the truth of the Gospel of Jesus.

We accidentally came across his messages on KZread 9 or 10 years ago and have been going to Grace and Faith ever since, where we then found Duane. Definitely regret however that we didn’t find them earlier. It’s like Jesus parachuted the messages as a rescue mission to get us unstuck.
Andrew wommack has been my mentor for almost 20 years now. He has influenced my walk of faith in a way for which I am grateful to God . Bless Andrew and Jamie and the CB C team Lord!!

Dang…I’m sorry
just back here to listen again to this episode that changed my life mid December 2021. It was like night and day, before watching I was so sad and demon conscious, God used this episode to deliver me from all that bondage. Afterwards I knew I was free. I will always circle back here. I love Andrew!! I wish to meet him one day.
I have so much respect for this man! Truly a man after Gods own heart.
My family had the privilege of meeting Andrew last weekend at the conference here! It was wonderful!
A very valuable interview with Andrew Wommack! I also loved the young man Jacob who was interviewing him, as well as studying under him.
Andrew is my teacher
Me also...I don't understand why people Christians talk bad about him because this ministry has been blessing to alot of Christians ...I been blessed too
Some pastors are teaching wrong and the people are Nero mine. But Andrew's teaching is amezing we are blessed to have time God bless him and his family ❤❤
Thanks for this. Some wisdom and good stories. I'd like to hear some more stories from brother Wommack. Good podcast.

Andrew Wommack is a great person. Blessed one..God bless you Andrew and your ministry.
What a man of God! We love and bless him!
Love you Andy. Jesus Christ bless you and your family and your ministry in a mighty way. Amen
"Ten Spies Network"... another Andrew Wommack classic saying 😄. Thank you for a wonderful chat!
Amen to everything Andrew said. So agree about carrying on relationships face-to-face, rather than digitally. So much is lost in communication through phone, text and email. You cannot get the "affect" of the person, their tone of voice, or their facial expressions. He is right.. 70% of our, communication is non-verbal. I feel for the younger generation. Great interview.
This was a great interview. I thoroughly enjoyed listening. Thank you!

Hey, I'll be sharing another interview with andrew this week! you can find it here... kzread.info/dash/bejne/nGell7CTn7HOdbQ.html
I was so blessed to hear Andrew talk about deliverance I wish he would have explained more though of what he believes is the appropriate be delivered of evil spirits especially after someone is manifesting. I have been at a lot of churches where demons manifest while the Holy Spirit begins to move and touch people and a lot of pastors do not know how to handle this.
Just love me some Andrew Wommick! He is such a exemplary lover of God .
Thank you lord for men of god like andrew and jacob ,what a blessing ,thank you
Watching this whilst working. Thank you
Another interview with Andrew will be dropping soon! kzread.info/dash/bejne/nGell7CTn7HOdbQ.html
Great interview with Andrew. Thank you so much for airing this. You guys are s blessing.
This is so true. The lack of discipleship in the Charismatic Renewal caused me the loss of my only brother because he did not know how to handle revelations and became unbalanced.
Where are the previous episodes with Andrew? This is so awesome! I'd love to watch them. Thanks for sharing with us. 💖

How can we send an email to Andrew that he will really read? Thank you! Great interview!
Does Jacob also run Objective Believer the KZread channel because the voice sounds the same?
Why would you command demons to come out in a restaurant??
How about having time with your family

Why aren’t charis students casting out demons much?
I am sorry, but I am having a hard time as a follower of Jesus to believe these stories. You aren't locking someone in there room for a week and "beating the demons" out of her. If someone is truly seeking God and feels a presence or not sure what to do because they have allowed them in to their lives, you can guide them and tell them to pray, right then and there, to pray to Jesus, repent, and ask Jesus to save you, to take any demons out of you and deliver you, and if you have faith in Jesus, he is just in delivering you from the darkness. This sounds like stories straight out of some exorcist movie. Be wary of those who tell such stories, and listen carefully to how the story is said. Now I am not saying his heart isn't in the right place and he means well, but to claim that you cast out demons is false, it is the power of Jesus Christ and all glory to Him, that demons know his name and when called out in His name with faithfulness, they have no choice but to leave.

Thank you for your comment, I do believe Andrew was telling these stories with the intent to highlight the foolishness that used to be common practice several years ago around this topic in order to encourage us to be wise and not weird. :)
Sounds like someone farted at 6:39

What is he talking about the south should’ve won! Crazy! If the south won i wouldn’t be here.

I beleive Andrew means that 'with all the powers & strength Of The South' they should have won. BUT God's Plan Overruled the Earthly Power and the RIGHT SIDE WON!! 👍👍
So since black man had a slave me as a black should just forget about slavery.

You might want to listen to this again. He didn’t say he wanted the south to win, he’s saying that it’s very possible that God intervened.

Again, you’re inferring something that isn’t there. He didn’t say for you to forget your history. If you’re looking to be offended, you will. Pray about it.
