I live in Australia, and at one of our high schools, an incipient Andrew Tate fanboy club was emerging, to the point where parents intervened and demanded joint action by the school head principal to nib it in the bud. The principal took action, and councillors were engaged. The whole incident was handled very responsibly. The boys were not forced or coerced in any way. Through counselling and discussions, the boys were presented with a different take on what Andrew Tate represented, and it quickly fizzled out. I know two of the boys involved, and they are good-natured kids. They follow people like Tate and Jordan Peterson because our society offers them nothing but life on a loop. A substance existence of long hours of soulless, poorly paid work and crashing at home in front of the idiot box. Then go to bed, get up and repeat. My working life was during the 1980 in Australia. At the time, 54% of dual family income paid for everything, including the mortgage. We had a thing known as disposable income...the remaining 46% of our wages. That you could use to pay your home off within 10 years tops. Or go on 4-week paid vacations, wherever you choose. Employment was full-time, with health care, six days paid sick leave each year, and superannuation, where the worker and employer paid in equal amounts. You could leave your job and have another the next day with all the same benefits. 94% of new jobs today are shitty Uber jobs, rendering the minimum wage almost irrelevant. We desperately need what no one ever talks about because social media has castrated us. Without a revolution yesterday, extinction is fait accompli. While most of us are prepared to do no more than bitch on social media, blow off steam, and watch Armaggedon on Fox Pay Perview. I've got my ticket.

A very decent take on modern youth life. If the perceived world _seemingly_ has nothing to offer beside the ‚loop‘, young men tend to organize in cults and gangs to foster any meaning to their lives. But most often it’s a matter of limited (almost crippled) perception through force-fed social media imagery. In fact, the world _HAS_ so much to offer in life - if you are willing to look out for it, nurture your mind, take some risks here and there and constantly work on yourself. No need to follow the false prophets of our time that have turned to the dark long time ago…

Bro this background track has like a whistle every couple of bars, and I was tripping I thought someone was whistling in my flat. It's like once you hear it you can't unhear it kind of sounds.

So many people saying they have sympathy with his followers. It kind of troubles me. In a perfect world, it would be no problem. But I don't see that same kind of sympathy for other extremely destructive groups. I myself cannot bring myself to sympathise with people, who choose to hate and diminish other people, just to feel better about themselves. No amount of pain makes it ok to be an asshole. It makes you deserving of help, but it doesn't excuse anything.

I thought I was the only one who wore a brocade mandarin jacket, a long ZZTop type beard, and a black fedora with a red hatband! Now I'm going to have to find another look. How about Saturday Night Fever? Damn! The guy next to Freddy Krueger nailed that look. I guess I'll go back to my boring trad Ivy look like so many other "beta males" such as Tucker Carlson.

I have always found it slightly ironic that these rugged individualists - Tate, Peterson, Musk - are the ones who are most interested in building and getting approval from a community. It's like they're trying to substitute the love and care they should have received growing up with validation from a bunch of strangers, thinking they're the same thing. Men will literally do anything but go to therapy.

I don't think being into kinky domonation play is a sign that you're an abusive person. All the sex trafficking and saying women are sub-human is a better indicator I would say.
