    @Manuel Salokangas if theyre playing positional they will, but if theres an attacking plan it's not as effective, just stall the attack pattern. it's objectively the best idea tho for 1800 pleb like me, unlike these gms who are unwavered by bluff like this

    @@cliffworsfold1994 if he promoted to queen, then Andrew would be in check. That will cancel the premoves and give Andrew a chance to take the queen. If it was a rook, the Andrew’s king wouldn’t have been in check and because he was premoving the pawns, he would have completely missed the rook

  • @extasse99

    @extasse99

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@littlepony9962 I’m sure that Tang at the very least is well aware of such a tactic as a GM specialized in bullet games but he’s well aware and that the opponent doesn’t have time to even try it as he has no time left and under-promoting is harder to premove as it takes more time. Also, having auto queen on is basically a must have in hyperbullet. I brought this up as it’d be a very viable tactic if you’re losing the game while the opponent is premoving due to time control under normal circumstances.

    Traded off a bunch of pieces in the opening/mid-game with rather safe premoves to simplify the game to a point where it's a low-time scramble in a rather simple end-game. @@xxluis_fornietgaymer666xx5 soo it means zero time is spend on a premove but actually when you make a premove the time you spend to actually make a premove is basically spent from your opponent's time so the total time a game should last is the total time of both players which is 30sec. my guess is that the server gives players a fraction of a second on every move because of ping and dilation. not sure thou.
