They're right in that Oct 7 didn't happen in a vacuum. It grates on me so much when people act like Oct 7 was day 1 of this conflict. It ignores all the nuances and context that led up up that disgusting fateful day. It ignores all the transgressions the Israeli government have carried out in all the years prior. It ignores all the suffering the Palestinians have gone through for so many years.

No one is acting like this happened in a vacuum, but if what happened on Oct. 7th and the response to it doesn't make you stop and realize something is seriously wrong on the pro-Palestinian side... If you want to sit and nuance what they did... If you can't call it what it is: sadistic barbarism, then I question your moral compass and if you have one.

@@motherofone979 Oct 7 is all those things you said. It was horrific, sadistic and barbaric. My heart breaks for all the innocent victims that day. But it’s being honest to also acknowledge that it didn’t happen in a vacuum. We can’t act like Oct 7 happened out of nowhere and we can’t ignore all the suffering that went on before that day. I’d say any sane and logical person would be pro Palestine in this conflict. They’re the ones without a state. They’re the ones being bombed into oblivion. They’re the ones being chased out of their homes. I’d say lots of people are acting like Oct 7 was day one. In fact I’d say lots of people have started following this conflict since Oct 7 and their view of the conflict is shaped by that day.

Why does Andrew keep saying people are celebrating the deaths of innocent civilians, insinuating that Palestinians are happy with this situation? Pro Palestinian groups have repeatedly condemned the attacks on Israel. However, not a single pro Israeli source or western media channel has condemned the killing of over 1,000 Palestinian children in less than one week. Even piers Morgan couldn’t bring himself to confirm the attacks on Gaza. It’s disgusting

Why don't Isreal just give Palestinians their freedom! If there is no oppression there won't be any resistance! If there is no colonization and annexation of Palestinian lands, there won't be any freedom fighters! If there was no Isreali terrorism, there won't be any Hamas terrorism.. stop looking at the reaction of the oppressed instead of just looking at the actions of the oppressor. Thank you

tbh my issue is why is this making news headlines when it’s Israeli victims but when it’s Palestinian it’s mute. At this time 47 Palestinian families have been wiped out. 47 families, which include siblings, parents, grand parents, cousins and uncles. and you know most of them are kids because the population in Gaza is 50% children. The Israeli government have been terrorizing Palestinian citizens for decades upon decades. Mass Media have shown that they have no empathy for Palestinians. It’s “condemn the action of hamas” (which I totally agree about, no innocent lives should be lost) but there’s no such thing has condemning the horrific acts Israel has continued to do with the Gaza citizens

Evidently their news is censored. I have been to Palestine myself and it is outstandingly ridiculous how little we in the West know of the graphic and torturous nature of the occupation. To solve this issue, the world must travel back to 1948. A journey only few are willing to take.

If you yourself are Palestinian, be honest: do you not want Palestine to be liberated? Are you not proud of the “freedom fighters” on October 7? From everything I’ve seen and heard, Palestinians want their homeland liberated, but this entails destroying Israel. I mean, the 10/7 attacks were on another scale of horror. If I were Israeli, my focus would be on that never, ever, ever happening again. I guess it sucks that Arafat didn’t end the military occupation in 2000 when he was offered a Palestinian state by Ehud Barak. It wasn’t a perfect offer, but it was pretty good given the circumstances.

If you’re comparing the conditions in Palestine to a concentration camp from WWII, then you are seriously misguided, vengeful and unaware of either the conditions in Palestine (moreso Gaza) or unaware of what a concentration camp is. Concentration camps were camps that killed people daily for the purpose of killing them and used those who were able to work as workers to supply those who were doing the killing with labor at no charge. The conditions in Gaza are terrible. People are dying and getting killed there, but generations have inhabited that land which means that Gaza isn’t a concentration camp. People do not get killed there by the thousands or even hundreds on a DAILY basis. Your comment is the type of rhetoric that fuels the hatred. The Jewish people have been killed and hunted just as they have done terrible things to the Arabs. Both the Arabs and Jews are not perfect by any means and no side is entirely right. But seriously? 75 years in a concentration camp? The Jews didn’t even take control of Gaza 75 years ago. They took control in the mid-sixties. Just stop the dramatization. Go be a terrorist. Make your family proud. Instead of this pathetic attempt at acting sanctimonious. Go pontificate elsewhere. Go be a terrorist instead of acting all dangerous and hurt in the YT comments.

@@MonssterHD It’s because it’s a nuanced issue. Hamas are mainly all Palestinian but not all Palestinians are part of Hamas. Those who don’t understand the conflict will make that mistake but I feel like those who are for Palestine need to make a distinction between the two as well. I’m all for Palestinian freedom but I have seen a lot of people justifying the acts of October 7th due to the issues in the past but if people really want to play that game, you can push back into the past to a time where the Arabs were oppressing the Jews. Before the Jews were given a Zionist state. This game will never end. Playing it that way will just lead to perpetual conflict. It’s just such a complex issue that requires the most competent people to sit at the table and negotiate.

@@OGTelosIts not necessarily a justification but its an understanding of what lead to it. If you force a group of people into an open air prison or a concentration camp they're going to be filled with hatred and resentment. If you kill their children for decades, demolish their neighbourhoods, give them no reason to live it will inevitably lead to more violence. The ANC in South Africa also murdered white people.

It's been an ongoing case for more than 70 years which was stated in this video. Why can't the jews live in America and Europe like they used to? Before the Balfour treaty Palestine was a country already. We know it be historic facts and if you can check any old Atlas that have not been misrepresented and modified to suit the israhellies.
