They did an all black with that same rubber toe cap and it came with white laces at the end of last year. I copped immediately because they looked like the first Emerica Reynolds

I vaguely remember those. All black shoes normally aren’t my vibe. Time and place though. Late ‘90s to mid 2000s vibes, for sure.

yeah I some how skipped that one. I barely remember seeing it after someone else pointed it out. I have seen some fire samples that haven't come out yet or may not come out.

That's sick. I wish it had Reynolds name or something on it tho be perfect. Reynolds loves those brown colorways, I can't believe it's taking so long for him to get a shoeee crazy. As my fav skater I can't wait. If they said Reynolds I'd immediately cop they missed the ball with that i have so many brown shoes lately ill have to pass but if they said Reynolds on it somewhere id def. Cop. I got the 272s tom KS there sick super flimsy tho

Too stiff and heavy for me, tbh. But this colorway was undoubtedly pushed by Reynolds. Definitely go a half size up from the 1010.

I remember seeing an ig story of Reynolds talking about the rubber toe cap on a pair of 808s he had, and it had me intrigued, to say the least. Really curious to see how it skates. As for his pro shoe... My guess is either Summer or Fall 2025. At the EARLIEST. Don't quote me on that, though. Lol.

They’re heavier and stiffer than the 1010. Also, they fit a half size smaller compared to the 1010 IMO. Obviously ‘90s inspired compared to the 1010. Check out a pair at your local.

@@ianturnbow7011 This is my preference plan on trying get pair 808 and 1010 in my collection some day. Also, depends on day for me some days use heavy shoes or day shoes lighter to skate.. After that since have wide feet most of my shoes goes up full size to have little room in toe box. Lastly definitely shop local as well.

I hope his pro model is a mid top whenever they come out

I hope they fixed the issue with the 808. They fit perfect, but there is something in the outside edge of the foot that just puts my foot to sleep

Yeah I’m aware and aware the rubber toe is a nod to his emerica shoe. Would’ve rather seen a different color like the all red with the gold hits. That’s more nostalgic for me though I suppose.

Fair. I def think the brown will sell better a second time than a red would. Just broader appeal. That said there is a new color 480 reynolds coming down the pipeline
