Wow! Shades of Juan Diego Florez, Lawrence Brownlee and Michael Spyres! He's up there with today's best.

Andrew, I just saw you (and your wife's!) version of 'remember me'- it was so. damn. good. As someone who plays guitar, i'm just wondering where that arrangement came from?? Was that version in the movie? Cheers, jane

thank you so much! I actually just found that version from a simple tutorial on KZread.. there are a few out there, but there’s one that’s very thorough and takes you through all the chords!

@@tenorandrewowens Hey thanks so much for the response, andrew. And gotcha- i'll go scout out that tutorial. I can learn most pop songs by ear, but lord- that version seemed intense! Don't know if i'll be able to play and sing that one for a while. All the best.

@@janeselby3145 oh it took PLENTY of practice and many many MANY takes before we got it down. If you look at my wife when I sing ‘...the only way that I can be’ she tries to stifle a big grin because I kept screwing up those chord changes. Finally got it right that time!

@@tenorandrewowens Ha! That's great. And many, many thanks for telling me this- It really reassures me (esp as i know you have perfect pitch).

Very good, but he needs to work on getting more legato lines & doing this without aspirating. I I assume he's young, so can do this?

Fabulous singing. I am not so keen on the interpretation. Less is sometimes more. By interpolating lots of unnecessary stuff, the aria actually becomes less effectful IMHO.

Nothing he does is outside the tradition of singing this rep. Ornamentation is the nature of bel canto opera.
