Every time this guy took a shot at John to contradict him, he immediately shot back, and got the crowds attention far more than the host. Dudes a legend.

That was a political slogan ("the clever country") pushed by a Left prime minister at the time and applauded by the Left. It was meant to suck up to the Left audience and it worked. Denton has always been politically correct and John picked up on that immediately
