Same here. And are we lucky! There's so much to catch up on. I've been binging AB for the last three days.

That was one of the best performances of tables and chairs.

Andrew Bird is always very interesting. I like him a little better live but his albums are amazing too.

I'm so glad I found Andrew Bird on pandora.com's Casiotone for the Painfully Alone channel. Saw him in concert last year. He & his band were so awesome. It was one of my favorite concerts & I've seen a lot of greats..

I've never heard Bird play with a drummer who's drum set sounds so "pop." Specifically on the song Plasticities. I'm not talking about how he's playing, but the sound of the drums sort of remind me of Carter Beauford. On the contrary they don't sound Indie/Messy/Folksie/etc.

In juxtaposition, I went to see him live and was disappointed not to see Ted Poor on the drums.

The crowd is bumming me out. Andrew is such a marvel it doesn't matter though.

I was there. People wouldn’t shut up. They were just talking over it. Same thing w damien rice. So if you see people looking kind of bored it could also be they were just very annoyed with the people behind them who were talking.
