Another Tech21 interview! This one is with Andrew Barta, president, of Tech21. He's the one who invents and sound designs all the cool amps and pedals throughout the company. Very laid back and knowledagable guy - and a good guitar player, too!

love love love tech 21 stuff!
These are fine products. The toroidal power transformer is a great touch. Anymore, getting hold of decent tubes is almost impossible. I'm through with beating my cranium on a hard surface seeking good vacuum tubes. Also, I like that the Tech 21 gear is analog. Proper application of MOSFET's equals great tone forever. I really like using Mr. Barta's products.
that amp sounds soooo good! i have a trademark 60 and wouldnt mind getting the 30 also. I love tech 21!

Loved my TM10. I still have some Tech21 pedals. Boost RVB, Tri-OD, and a Double Drive. All great sounding super-intuitive gear.
Is there anywhere I can get a list of presets for this amp as I’ve just bought one?

What does ‘Tech 21’mean?
Although the transformer weight comment is accurate, you may want to compare the output of a 120 watt solid state amp to a 100 watt tube amp. More often than not, you'll find the solid state amp produces far less clean output. BTW, I use Tech21 products, and intend to buy one of the combo amps, so I'm not bashing here. I just feel the wattage info may mislead some people.

Doesn't sound any better than my line 6 SS. They all sound harsh. You just can't beat a tube amp, more natural and responsive.
