Who painted this and how is it called? ...and, of course, these are lovely pieces, dynamically interpreted. I have been liking it a lot for some time now.

Wonderful selection of period paintings. What do they have to tell us about the performance of this music? Perhaps even more in the way of acoustic shadow and light? PS. And the violin always carried on the arm, like a bluegrass fiddle?

@@vanu49 Hi, I could spot Theodoor Rombouts, Frans Hals, Gerard van Honthorst, Jan Steen, ... a lot of artists in there!

Good grief: They are grinning and even laughing on these paintings! But many are depicted with surprisingly good teeth.

I mean they mostly had raw food and less sugar hence stronger teeth but older painters were notorious for depicting the muses of their paintings better then they were in real life😂

@@kousara_2005 At that time they already had a lot of sugar. So probably those with teeth were either very young or very poor. The rest had rotten or no longer teeth... Hence Mona Lisa's enigmatic smile.

@@kousara_2005 My ex was a historian and during one of his studies a lecturer brought two skulls in, and they had to say which one is medieval and which one is (early) modern. The clue were the teeth... The medieval had most of them, the modern one had mostly none.
Thanks for this. May God bless you.

You can see here now artists of the time had to use male bodies in their art, women couldn't expose even shoulders or be thought loose... Faces, yes, but the rest is male with a woman's head on top.
