I lost my dad last November! Treasure your dad! I haven't shaved since. It's my way of mourning. I have a big beard now.

Used to love this song, now it’s just painful to listen to. I’d been listening to it for three years with no problems, and then suddenly, it made me think of my aunt who had terminal cancer. I told my cousin when we were on the way back to her house from her brother’s, she listened to it and insisted that I play it for her mom when we got home. I did, while she lay there smiling at us through the bars of the hospital bed that was in the family room, and she passed away the next night with her husband, her kids…including myself and my cousin-in-law, who she thought of as bonus kids…most of her siblings, and her two granddaughters.

Andrea Bocelli never disappoints. What a great father and son song.
