Their my favorites too! I saw Andrea Bocelli in concert last December and he was phenomenal! Now I really want to see Katherine Jenkins live!

We Americans also love Sarah Brightman! NEVER be anyone better for this song than Sarah.

Andrea puts everyone to shame singing this, his voice is out of this world

Stupendous.

Some people forget, it is very hard to get a key that 2 performers of many years can sing comfortably, more so in a song like this that swings from one end of the scale to the other, dam fine job in my oppinion. :-)

Sorry, I couldn't disagree more...Katherine's voice is earth to Andrea's fire and the final minute of this video, when they sing together, is absolutely magnificent! I love Sarah Brightman and she is wonderful on this piece, but the synergy between Jenkins and Bocelli is just incredibly moving...I am keeping both the Bocelli/Jenkins and the Bocelli/Brightman performances on my most favorites playlist!!

I actually have a lot of respect for Sarah Brightman, especially after I read her words when she said she isn't an opera singer but she does her own thing. And I do like her in this song and in Broadway. Opera isn't just volume (and if you are in the theater it doesn't sound loud, you'd be surprised, it's softer than Broadway, and so beautiful) - it's also singing music as written, silent breathing, long lines, diction, expressiveness, phrasing, changing one's voice to suit the role, acting.

My thoughts too with regards to Andrea not being able to witness Kathrine's beauty. She is indeed an ethereal though earthly goddess. How fortunate are we to both see and hear both of them together. Then again, how fortunate is Andrea to have his fabulous voice that enraptures us all including the beautiful Kathrine.

Negative statements such as those below have no place among such beauty, elegance, and inspiration. Beauty is not to be compared, just cherished. Where would we be without it.

I think that a lot of people criticize Katherine Jenkins in this song only because we are a lot more used to Sarah Brightman's version which is more popular. If this duet would be more known or repeated, it would be as equally popular as Andrea with Sarah... When I first heard The Prayer as a duet of Andrea Bocelli and Josh Groban I thought that it sounds like two men fighting with each other but I listend to it a lot and now it's one of my favourites versions of The Prayer...

+Klára Kučerová The problem in this performance is Jenkins covered her larynx. When she does that it destroys the timbre of her voice. I could not listen more than five seconds and turned it off. When she performs it with her pop voice she sounds wonderful.

They are very good together. I am no expert but have been listening to this song for several months sung by little Jackie Evancho and I have to say I like her voice better and she is only 10 years old. Matter of fact, Katherine and Jackie Evancho may be singing a song together in two days. That will be something to watch!!!

None of you guys know a truly beautiful voice if it was put right in front of you. Katherine Jenkins is still maturing! Having a voice like hers takes a long time to mature! I should know! I have a similar style of voice! But she can sing in any style because of the type of voice she has!! And her vibrato is perfect she has a big voice so it takes a lot of energy to control it!

SHe is one of the greatest singers of our time. I just love her deep full voice. How can you people even comment on it when you can't hear how good she sings. you should be ashamed:-) And yeas opera singers can take quite some in their mouth, my girlfriend is a Alto and i Sings Baritone, so i know:-)

Exactly what I said. She just needs to find and sing songs that suit her voice. She sounded amazing in I Believe with Bocelli. She should stick with the more mellow light opera songs. Really well done in that other one.
