James fought everyone from middle weight all the way to heavy weight. Toney is real as it gets. And a amazing boxer with knock out power and old school shoulder roll. Him vs iran watch a master piece. Study it if you want to learn master class boxing.

Toney’s acting skills were on-point. SOG had to massage the shoulders to make sure that James wasn’t experiencing a PTSD flashback.

facts holyfield was injured tho like significantly and you can see it in the fight james couldn't be stopped himself would've been chess but Andre ward more aggressive and physical much bigger could've bullied toney and can play chess in the ring too toney handspeed and explosiveness I say they can beat each other but I favor ward

I believe that's my dude Poison Junior Jones in the middle with the shades. I spoke with him briefly here in NYC years ago giving him his PROPS for his greatness in the ring. He was knocking out almost everything he touched back in the 90's!🥊💥💨💨💨💨💨💨

I met James Toney at an airport once, LITERALLY, the nicest professional athlete I have ever talked to. We talked for probably 20 minutes and HE was asking ME about my wife and kids. Strangest thing though, I shook his hand, he honestly has hands like a 16 year old girl. Its amazing he beat guys like Ruiz and Jirov.

James Is a character, 😆 and on the low JT Is the GOAT 🐐 TBE, all that. JT fought the best of the best and ducked no one. And if Ward fought Toney in his era he would have got knocked out, JT Is such a superior boxer. He is on another level, I watch and study toney, he is my favorite boxer of all time.

I would have liked to see Floyd fight Aaron Pryor the Hawk just to see his reaction when the first bell rang and he literally ran to him to begin his assault. It was different in those days the best fighters wanted to fight each other. I watched Floyd's dad fight Sugar Ray and it was a good fight. My favorite fighter of all time is Roberto Duran he was a true warrior like James Toney they were born knowing how to fight.
