In self directed ed K-12 we use the principles of Andragogy applied to youth. It works great because children are people!

absolutely not. The US public system is the same as it has been for 100 years. Check out the Alliance for self directed education to learn more about the movement. @@missnlahi

Some of your description of pedagogy seems really a description of outdated pedagogy. It seems that newer methods actually, rightly or wrongly, incorporate andragogy principals. Thoughts on this?

Would be a great video without the background noise. Sounds like a lot of screaming and doors slamming which is distracting.
