Yea he is Olly Hogben one of my favorite commentators very knowledgeable and he also commentates other sports as well

I absolutely love it. In figure skating its called “hang time” when you pause before you start rotating. Requires a lot of skill and mastery to do this

Geez!! Her Cheng is just spectacular! She hits the vault opens up wait and then starts twisting you can see every step of the Salto, no early twisting or wonky legs, nothing, this is the type o Salto that the judges die for

And a bars silver too, that's just as big of an achievement for her and Brazilian gymnastics.

First a gold & a silver at the Olympics, then a gold & a silver at Worlds, in the short span of nearly 3 months. I believe she is the Brazilian counterpart to Simone Biles. If she can stay healthy for at least the next 3 years (& her university courses may help with that) maybe we will see her in Paris 2024!

I know complimenting Andrade triggers some folks but her Cheng is one of a kind, she floats before she twists and her DTY is the best I've seen in recent memory.

Her block form is absurdly beautiful, I would dare say perfect, from the best blocks I’ve seen in my lifetime. She just outshines everyone else in vault, she has THE talent 🔥

I think her WC vaults are better than she was in Tokyo. Brazil finally has a verifiable champion. It's nice to see Rebeca smile after all she's been through to get healthy.

Her Cheng in Tokyo QF scored a huge 15.400. It was almost perfect. At the finals, she struggled a little bit, but still enough to beat the other athletes.

@@ingrydm.4102 Yeah Dai was very good. But that was back aways and as great as she was, she never received an Olympic medal even though she represented Brazil at 3 of them.(2004, 2008 & 2012). And she only had 1 World Championship Medal (Gold back in 2003 in Anaheim, CA) even after being on the Brazil National teams from 1998 till 2013 when she retired. Her best achievement IMO is having 2 skills named for her in The FIG CoP. The Dos Santos 1 & Dos Santos 2. Rated F and H respectfully in the 20017-2020 CoPs. Both are floor routine skills which was by far her best apparatus. She is still highly respected by her peers.

Dude, she’s got glue on her feet. Her landings are amazing.

That first vault gave me goosebumps. It seemed like she just hung in the air forever before she started twisting. (Lol the commentators talked about this as I was typing- glad I wasn’t the only one who noticed.) Magnificent.

Rebeca is so far ahead of the other gymnasts that she even simplified the second jump, she didn't even need to do her impeccable Amanar, which guaranteed her Olympic gold. Rebeca Andrade is amazing, gorgeous! Pride of Brazil 💚💛💙🤍🇧🇷!!!!

Desde o 7x1 e os 3x0 da Holanda, não considero mais o Brasil o país do futebol, apesar disso, é notável que estamos crescendo no cenário olímpico, daqui a alguns anos podemos evoluir ainda mais e quem sabe ficar próximos dos países tradicionais (aliás em Tóquio, a maioria das nossas medalhas vieram de esportes tradicionais, o que mostra que aos poucos estamos no caminho certo)

She’s a world-class athlete and person. Love her spirit and how humble and friendly she is. You can tell she’s grateful to be able to compete and succeed at the highest levels and not taking her opportunities for granted. Has overcome some injury and adversity along the way. Stoked she got those Olympic medals too incl. gold in vault, unsurprisingly, with this as evidence.

I love her personality also. At the Olympic vault finals she hugged MyKayla Skinner (who medaled with her) & consoled Shallon Olsen (who finished next-to-last & was crying). When I listen to interviews of her, I love the sound of her voice, & the interviewers seem to be very good at building & maintaining rapport with her.

She’s such a great gymnast!!!! I’m such a fan!

that block and open-up was amazing. Even on the guys side of the sport, not many people can block and open that well. I guess most of them do add another twist, which is why they don't open up like her. However, her vault was amazing

That little "float" she does... I get pumped every time I see it. The strength this woman has to have gone through excruciating injuries that would have forced others into retirement... It feels good to see her peak and claim her rightful place among the best of the best! 🇧🇷

Good for her! Between her great Cheng execution and the weaker post-olympic field, smart to just do the double yurchenko. Super clean, easy, and easy gold! And the way her bars routine was! If she was doing floor (where she could medal as well) as well as that allowing her to do the all-round she could have come home with 5 medals! But smart for her to listen to her body. That's how long term injuries are avoided.

They need to change the Cheng to Andrade.... Simply gorgeous.... Always

Do feminino já é. Em 3 meses, passou Daiane, Jade e Daniele em medalhas em Mundial e Olimpíadas. No masculino, Zanetti e Hypolito ainda têm mais títulos, mas ela tem total condição de passar todos. É muito versátil, pode ganhar ate 4 medalhas no próximo mundial.
