Yes indeed!!? Made me very proud to be the one the APOLLO theater gave the name Billie Holiday Jr to 20 years ago on national TV. She made me see what it is that folks here in Harlem say I remind them of her...the elders who knew the real Billie Holiday in her truest form... but feds didn't grab her & pull her off no stage...they always waited for her performance to be completely finished...she always knew they were there for her cuz she would always spot their white Sox.

I would live to see her getting her own talk show, but I think she could do so much more. The talk show would limit her for now, she's young and talented. Maybe later.

Wow! I think this is one of the first times I've seen an interview of Andra Day. I absolutely love her personality. And the Black Queendom that's happening here, just yes!!

✨✨These two ladies are so talented, very beautiful, charming and hilarious. I smiled this entire segment. Love, love, love them. Andra needs to have her voice on the CALM app with Tabitha Brown, another calming voice that I love. Congrats on your much deserved awards, ladies. 💛👸🏾👸🏾💛 I’m proud Ms. Holiday got her much overdue recognition. I still cherish her voice daily. Legendary goddess, Rest In Peace. 👼🏾🕊✨✨

Didn't she do an excellent job!?? Now you know exactly how the Lady "auntie" was named after from the APOLLO theater, really was in her lifetime, I loved it! Myist said it was eerie to watch cuz it Was like watchin ME a lil bit.
