Ohh man…this one brings back some fond memories. My grandmother was one of the biggest Andre Rieu(Andre Reu as she liked to pronounce is name) fans out there. She collected all his cds and dvds. Including the one with this concert in Maastricht. We danced together on this song, in her little apartment in the home of the elderly where she lived. Thanks for sharing this one with us!

My grandmother too. Unfortunately I was never able to take her to a concert of André Drieu. That's how she kept calling him.

Andre is so great,he is famos all over the world ,its really amazing,and yes the Dutch know there music and just dance

When I was about twelve years old, I was gifted my first ever two albums by my brother. They were the albums of Lou Bega and Liquido. I am still grateful for that gift and this clip brings out a lot of nostalgic feelings indeed!

Thank you! I seriously thought I was the only one liking this song by Lou Bega. You may like or not like André, but he gets stuff done. Anthony Hopkins is a fan, even wrote music for them to play. Figure that, André and Anthony...

I can remember this was the UK cricketing theme tune on television years ago.

I was at one of the concerts on Het Vrijthof that year and saw this in person. May not have been the same evening but it was the same year. André always has a special guest at these annual Vrijthof concerts. We also saw him live in Washington DC a few years later. The first half of his concerts is mostly made up of the classical music styles. After that it is fair game and it's a big party with more contemporary tunes. So much fun.

If you want someone that can put all music genres together with the orchestra and make the best of the artist they bring with them, here's André Rieu.

This was just great and had a lot of fun with Lou Bega back stage too. In 2 days we’ll be at the Christmas Concerts in the MECC in Maastricht!
