André Matos shows his METAL attitude. He is unfotgotten in the Basilian Haevy Meta szene. His band Angra the Brazilian natives' mythical being goddess of fire) released in 2023 the song ""Ride Into The Storm" where Andrè Matos comes back as a child and then something mytical happens. The music is as mythic as the lyrics are.

I agree with the other comments that have been made. Please react to both André's AND Dan's versions of "Fairy Tale." The song is simply fantastic in the first place, and both versions are stupendous. Thank you for this reaction. Every time I see Dan's tribute, I end up in tears...for him, mostly, and for all the others who also loved André very much. Also, it brings back a ton of memories of my own dad, who passed away at age 54. Interestingly, his father had passed away at age 54, and then in later years, my younger-younger brother (of two brothers--the older-younger one is still living in Valdez, Alaska, where we all grew up) passed away at age 54. Very strange. My dad and my brother were both named Frank, with different middle names. I still miss both of them very, very much. My mom is now with them, and with the first of her five children, who died at 10 days, and that comforts me. Anyway...yeah...this song is hard to listen to, but I love it. I do hope you'll do that comparison reaction. Again, thank you very much for this one.

Fairy Tale is an amazing song. Dan's cover does pay homage as well as this song does. Andre was a force!

Andre Matos was with 2 epic metal bands and they are Angra and Shaman. Check out any of their songs and you will know why Dan was a big fan of his.

Definitely react to Andre! Sadly, I never heard of him until I heard of Dan, and by then, Andre had already passed away. Check out Shaman's Fairy Tale (Ritualive version) and then listen to Dan's cover from 2018. Also check out Andre's solo song I Will Return and Viper's The Spreading Soul Forever(Andre was lead vocalist in both the Shaman and Viper songs. Great Dan Vasc! If you wish to hear something of Andre Matos you HAVE TO listen to ‘Reaching Horizons’ from Angra (the band who Andre was lead singer and composer). A metal ballad that will give you deep emotion. Andre is simply incredible

Dan's tribute is so beautiful. I'd never heard of André Matos until I saw this video in June. Then I dove into his music. He was a great composer, songwriter, and performer. I suggest a reaction to André's live performance of "Fairytale." Then watch Dan's version. I wish I had known of André before he passed. I'm so glad we have Dan to "carry on." I'm subbing to your channel and looking forward to many more DV reactions! He's absolutely phenomenal.
