André Jolivet's "Concertino for trumpet, strings and piano" was performed by the WDR Symphony Orchestra with soloist Selina Ott under the baton of Andris Poga on 30 November 2018 in the Cologne Philharmonic Hall. Selina Ott was the first woman to win a first prize in the trumpet category at the ARD International Music Competition in 2018.

This is one of the toughest pieces for trumpet. And what amazing control Ms Ott. demonstrates ! Superb performance !

Selina is a very skilled trumpet player. For more visual enhancement of the performance, I would recommend memorizing the work and engaging the audience by projecting a more energetic, assertive presence and showing a little more enthusiasm. She certainly has a promising future as a professional and will have a more commanding demeanor on stage as she gains experience.
