Never really thought or knew but the direction of the wind is not the tornado blowing stuff away from it but rather it is sucking everything in. Fascinating to see how far the reach of the tornado was.

Thats called the inflow, You can see by the flags that the wind was blowing in different directions that covered about 180 degrees from the tornado passing by on one side, a direct hit means you'd get battered from all directions and be subject to the IMMENSE updraft vacuum that pulls roofs right off of houses and picks vehicles up and tosses them.

It’s amazing how it seemed so far away for most of this video, and then, all of a sudden, it was right there passing by and throwing trees around. 🌳 🌲 🌪

I agree. This is likely because it was headed for us the whole time and at the last 50sec it shifted and sideswiped the parking lot.

That tornado in the corner is so sad. ITS SO SMALL BUT YET SO DEADLY

Amazing how slow it's traveling, yet gaining so much power. Glad no one was seriously hurt.

That slow speed probably made the damage more intense because it stayed over things for longer. When I look at the jonesboro tornado in 2020 it moves crazy fast. If it was at this speed people would've died for sure. I think that's what happened with jarrell. And it looks like this thing got way stronger at the end of the video. It's crazy this tornado wasn't so bad. People got lucky

I think you misjudge its trajectory for speed. It seemed slow because it was headed directly for you. You saw the last 50sec how much ground it covered because it shifted and missed the parking lot and camera. They always seem like they are standing still when they are headed directly for you. Or so I have heard.

The way it flattens those trees causing it's trail of terror is truly terrifying. And that's just a medium sized twister.

Best view yet.....thankfully it didn't totally destroy the city hall building. Where are you guys getting these incredible performing cameras......just great.

4:00 watch the flag and see how drastically things go from calm to catastrophic in the span of 50sec and the tornado is just passing by. Note also how fast it moves, what ground it covers in 50sec. It's hard to even tell it was even moving until it took that right turn and sideswiped. That's possibly because for the most part it was headed directly for the parking lot but shifted in the last 50seconds.

If you look close enough it did not touch the ground and become a tornado until 3:35 that’s why it was so slow

It's incredible that the tornado only swept up those trees that had been damaged. You see those on the left hand side of the screen and three in center screen.
