The response from his side was absolutely excellent. She was hoping for something that would make him hysterical and emotional, but instead, he’s super cool and responds completely appropriately to her questions, not even getting upset in any way. He also mentions that he respects her feelings. It’s her who can’t handle the situation because she obviously likes him “A lot” but he doesn’t meet her expectations… that’s what ‘that’s ok’ means

I don’t blame the guy. Must be tough handling that many broads who don’t speak Spanish and being from an entirely different culture all together. In the end, it was the producers’ faults for the debacle that played out. Should’ve never casted JP in the first place.

Unpopular opinion perhaps years later, but I don't think JP is as bad and terrible as people think. He was good with Desiree and Sharleen and Nikki are still to this day saying good things about him. The thing was the he only liked Sharleen and when she left, he didn't know what to do with the rest.

I have mixed feelings about this..She told him “I so badly want to fall in love”. Then she talked about not knowing if their connection was just physical..I mean how should he feel? He didn’t hop from girl to girl kissing them, he only kissed the ones he cared about & went on one on ones. So he didn’t lead them on..(in my opinion) When Andi was the bachelorette, she completely blindsided someone..he ended up being the villain for his honest question! She told Nick she wasn’t in love with him (but yet led him to the proposal day) He said to her, “you’re not in love with me..so why would you tell me all those things & then make love to me.” What sucks is, these people get blindsided or heartbroken as a contestant by the lead..but when they’re the next lead, they do the same thing, if not worse!! Becca (in my opinion) was worse than Arie, Bc she knew how it felt..She would run up to them, wrap her legs around them or say “HIIIIII!!!!” Make out with them, but by the next half of the date- I’m not where you are & I don think I can get there. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I honestly think Juan Pablo, was really misunderstood..but maybe I’m missing something.

Lol you are missing the fact that Juan lacked compassion. Even if the lead is blind siding someone you try to apologize and reassure them in some way, he didn't care, that was the problem. Dude. No one. I mean, no one, goes on The Bachelor to find love. I’m not jaded enough to think it never happens incidentally during the 8 weeks they are filming. The conditions the producers create are perfect and carefully designed to trick people into thinking they’ll last forever. That’s why you get all these juicy sound bites every season. But absolutely no single 20 something needs to be on The Bachelor to find romance. The anger at him, I think, is because he signed onto a show with no regard at all to act how ABC wanted him to act. I say I think, because producers could have edited this to make him look like a hero. But they didn’t because he didn’t play ball. That’s why a lot of people find him to be “real”. It’s also why he’s vilified to this day.

he was literally the WORST bachelor, literally two women left him for the same reason. Sharleen left him because she didnt think there was a mental connection and andi left for pretty much the same reason. This man must be empty because women are not connecting with him emotionally, he came off simple this whole season

Honestly just because there is no compatibility or connection between two people, it doesn't make either of them a bad person. Why would that make him the worst bachelor?

Girls from Australia bachelor revealed that half of the girls wanted to leave at half way along the show but producers promised them a spot in Bachelor in paradise au if they stayed until them have been eliminated. It's not all like it seems.

I’m not surprised hostile belligerent catty women hate this guy. He had to field his way through a slew of women with serious issues, who wanted to get reactions out of him and break his calm and centred and polite demeanour. They couldn’t handle not being treated like the centre of the universe. They suffered from the typical “Disney Princess pathology”. Which is kind of a misnomer because Disney Princesses were way more charming and feminine and sweet than the girls on this show. Throughout history men often left their homes and wife and children for years to seek out their wealth and return with fortune and abundance. And the wife stayed the course, tried and true; worthy of admiration and unneeding of constant reassurance and attention. These days if you don’t immediately shower a typical American drama queen with all the affection and emotions of a movie star then she will be tempted to scratch your eyes out. Imagine how she would react if you shit tested her 😳!

I mean is he wrong ? If she not feeling it she don’t have to stay .. it’s not his fault . She’s not forced to be there nor fall in love with him .

Yeah, he comes across as uncaring but as I’ve gotten older I find I relate more and more to Juan. Life throws awful, soul crushing things your way. But maybe the worst part about it is that it just goes on. There isn’t time to break down or lose your way every time something bad happens. People die, families drift apart, you lose money and jobs. And life keeps on moving. So yeah, now that I’m approaching 40 I can respect the measured “It’s ok” responses from him.

Doubleshot98 I think they both are. I couldn’t stand her. She’s angry because he didn’t like her enough to change his ways.

... I agree with him, what was she expecting from him? She is just bothered because he is not trying to keep her, was she expecting him to cry and beg her to say he is in love?
