Today, I am excited to share one of the best resorts in Hawaii, the Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort. This is the best honeymoon resort in Maui and one of the best in Hawaii.
Although the Andaz is not an adults-only resort, it caters more to adults, and you won’t find many children here. It’s a quieter resort with a more intimate feel, but there are still plenty of things to do both on and off property. There are watersports, yoga, and other activities included in your resort fee.

Why stay at the Andaz Maui at Wailea?
This upscale and intimate resort in Maui offers 321 guest rooms, including 31 villas and 35 suites. You can check out the Ilikai Villas here (link: • Ilikai Villas at Andaz... . The Andaz is set on 15 beachfront acres and offers 5 pools, 3 infinity pools, and one lagoon pool, and one quiet, adults-only pool. There is a full-service salon (not pictured-sorry!), golf nearby, and one of the best restaurants in Maui, Ka’ana Kitchen.
As a Hawaii Travel Agent, I’m often able to find rates for the Andaz with breakfast at Ka’ana Kitchen included! It’s the best breakfast in Maui (trust me!), and you must check it out at least once. Another incredible Maui restaurant - Morimoto Maui - is onsite. The Feast of Mokapu Luau (one of my favorites for adults) is also onsite.
The Andaz is located in the beautiful resort area of Wailea, close to many restaurants and championship golf. There are also plenty of shops, and you’re only about 25 minutes from Kahului Airport. South Maui is also a great location due to easy access to both the west side (Ka’anapali, etc.) and the east side (Road to Hana, Haleakala, etc.)
Please note that while all of Maui is open and welcoming visitors, this particular part of Maui is far from the fires and remained open with no impact at all from the devastation of the Lahaina fires. Maui needs your help to build back, and this area was not at all affected if that is a concern for your Maui vacation.
