I am from Andaman. ye sabkuch sach hai. ye sari baate ham bachpan se jante hai. Japanese ne 2nd world war ke dauran yha boht zulm kiya boht jitna koi soch b nhi skta 😓 Japanese ne Aurto pe boht zulm kiye. Japanese Andaman ke logo ko khana nhi dete thy, kisi ki death ho jaye to shamshaan ya kabristaan le jane pe rok thi. logo ko naav me bhr kr bich Samndar me le jakr dubo diya jata tha, Zulfiqar pe boht zulm hua, uski kahani yaad krke aaj bhi logo ki rooh kaamp jati hai. jab kisi ko Japanese torcher krke maarte thy to pure shehar ke logo ko order hota tha ke chauraahe pe jama hoke sabkuch apni aankho se dekhe brutal zulm aur us dauran kisi ko bhi rone ki ijazat nhi thi. Japaaniyo ka hukum hota tha ke log apne ghar khule rkhe , Japanese Soldiers ko jo b chiz pasnd aaye wo le jate thy lootmaar krke. logo ko goliyo se bhoon diya jata tha. hamare purvaj btaate thy itne saal atyachaar sehne ke bad jab British fauj aur unki fighter planes aai to Andaman ke logo ke liye unhone foods giraaye aur Japanese ko khdeda 😓😭

Thanks dost for such a great information. Whatever we read in our text books that shows only one side of story. I used to think that Japan helped us in our liberation. But the colonizers mindset was no different. Irrespective of the fact who was colonizers, they did cruelty on local people across the world. We are really blessed people that we are living in a independent country which is progressing, this is due to great sacrifice done by our ancestors.

Japanese empire was way more cruel than British or French empires. Atrocities they did in China was unimaginable. China and Japan's relations have still not recovered from that past. Our books obviously won't tell us what they did in China. They will only tell us that they helped Netaji against the British. History text books in every country is nothing but part of propaganda.

    I belong to Andaman... We the people of Andaman known everything.... Each and every word is true...The Hamfreygunj memorial in remembrance of the Hamfreygunj massacre still exists... The SAUDAGAR BABA.. i have seen him when I was a kid.... He use to walk so fast even in such an old age ... The Independence of Andaman by Azad hind fauj is lie and Flag hoisting by BOSE was nothing but symbolic... Actually Andaman now became slaves of Japan .... And they were Barbaric ...If Bose along with Japan and Germany had succeeded then whole India would have suffered what people of Andaman suffered.... .. BUT YES WE ALL KNOW BOSE'S INTENTION WAS GENUINE ..HE WAS TRUE FREEDOM FIGHTER ...BUT THE RESULT WAS DEFINITELY NOT AS EXPECTED...He just ignored the condition of locals in his visit to Andaman... ।

As a native of andaman i want to share few details 1- The United States bombing on Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6 and August 9 in the yr 1945 was one of the major reasons the islands got freedom from Japanese soldiers. Maybe the bombing was boon to the islanders which saved the remaining 10000 people's from getting killed by them. Japanese left our islands on August 15, 1945 as they were called back because of the huge no of casualties. 2- Mr Bose who also died in the same year 1945 (plane crash) claimed he was unaware of the atrocities by the Japanese towards the islanders.

So Subhash Chandra Bose was used by Japanese to take over Andaman in their ongoing push towards the West. Bose never had any control over what happened in Andaman. If Bose had an upper hand then on his 2nd visit he cld have freely talked to his locally appointed officials or questioned their absence if they were killed . Japanese regulated his visit & surely Bose knew he could not upset them as that was the only little support he had . Andaman freedom as we in modern India know was a farce . We were colonised because we were divided in smaller states, now these politician are dividing us for their own gain / Aim. It is time to think how we can remain united or there would be another colonisation wating in modern way, Do we wish our future generation to born in any type of slavery???? United India with all means, which respects all her children irrespective of colour, cast, religion, wealth, age or education. If we could do this we would really qualified to take great people's name like Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

Hi Nikhil / The Lallan Top, I've the following points worth noting a) Netaji had VERY CLEARLY AND REPEATEDLY AND CATEGORICALLY said to Officers and Men of Azad Hind Fauj and also all the Indians at various public meetings that Japanese were 'just helping' the Indians with the war against the British and they cannot have any role thereafter, as Indians and only Indians will be decider of their fates. Once in a Public Meeting, the PM of Japan, General Tojo said that 'Netaji will be the PM of India after India gets its freedom'. In that very public meeting only, Netaji rose up and said 'General Tojo is nobody to decide who'll be India's PM after its independence. It is for the Indians to decide this. The role of Japan is limited to till India's getting its freedom only and no further" . Such was his grit and firmness that he could immediately denounce the PM of that very country, for an unsavoury remark, which was helping the Azad Hind Fauj with every necessity. Could any other leader have such courage. ? When he met Hitler, he "forced" him to agree to drop the demeaning references to Indians from his book "Mein Kampf". Could any leader of any country ever have thought of such an audacity. ? No. It was only Netaji, who could've done it b) He had REPEATEDLY AND CATEGORICALLY said this to his INA and public at large that "After we drive out British with the help of Japanese, we should be ready to fight the Japanese, if such a situation arises". He was very straightforward and honest c) Do u have any document to substantiate your aversions made in the video. ? He was a great personality, much much different from and higher than the other leaders. Don't try to denounce him and his great contribution

Tamal no doubt Netaji is one of finest freedom fighter. His intention behind seeking help from Japan was on pure grounds. But we must agree that his thoughts about Japanese was myopic or possibilities maybe such that he never thought for this scenario which actually made people suffer. This was an unpredicted impact and no one should be blamed for this. And people here should not compare the two great personalities i.e Gandhi and Bose. They both lived for freedom and died for freedom.
