Thank you for uploading this. I was visiting Whitby just last week and went to the museum dedicated to James Cook. I imagine that a Spanish vessel would have received a rather different welcome back in 1588.

I remember another beautiful ship the Barque Marques coming into Whitby in August 1980 . Sadly it sank in the Tall Ships race in 1984 .

@@fenderac3049 Endeavour had small engine too when it visited Whitby, although sail is Main propulsion in this modern world small diesel engine is necessary in times no wind

Looks dull, like the Black Pearl. If she were to fly her colours, Huge Spanish flag from the stern it may have brightened her up slightly. Can't imagine the Spanish going in for drab matt black Galleons. Nice replica all the same.
