Nicely done. Since vowels already came up in the comments...there are several schools of thought in choral diction. This director clearly chose to respect the text rather than focus on vertical space for its own sake, and the result is that the listener experiences both the song and the poem.

I really think some of these other comments are very harsh. Girls your sound is beautiful and you are too. I think you shoud be proud of your rendition of this lovely song. [and by the way I am a music teacher of 37 years and won many awards for my choral groups!]

I am incredibly impressed with the expressiveness of this ensemble. The students are wonderfully engaged and invested in the song. The blend and balance are fantastic. I'm going to show this to my high school students so that they have a good tone ideal for this piece.

We have the same song in my middle school, it is advanced show choir and we sing it better then u do sorry
