Stupendium doesn't get enough love. As for the song itself, it really doesn't have anything to do with the game's story, as the game has no story. But a great song non the less

The worse part is that it's totally plausible, albeit viewed through a pessimistic lens.

It's basically just a bunch of varying minigames that you want to not be the worst at. This guy makes everything dark. It's great.

It's really fascinating, this song, because the actual game is just you trying to complete obstacle courses; there's no story. It's just a competitive game, but Stupendium went and gave the little avatars a story, and made it good... Stupes is such a legend.

I love it when you react to his songs and you don't know the context. It makes your reactions much more unique and fun to watch as you try to piece together both the story they're telling in the song and the story in the game.

I'll be honest I find it surprising you don't know about Fall Guys, but it also makes your reaction much more unique than that of those who DO already know about Fall Guys. And agreed, song is great, one of my faves from Stupendium. It's a fitting song for the game, since while the game has no story in is really just purely for fun, the song is made in a way where you could easily see it being the 'dark truth' of the game, and I say that's a song that had a lot of thought and effort put into it

Fall Guys doesn't really have a story; these dark themes of oppression and revolution are just something he threw in himself for fun. You play as one of a hundred or so contestants per match in a series of small obstacle courses. In each course, only so many contestants can qualify and move on to the next one. If you take too long or fall into the goo (or your team loses; the events are mostly free-for-alls, but there are a few events with randomly-assigned teams), you're eliminated and go back to the lobby for some consolation points (some for every event you competed in before elimination, plus more depending on how close you were to the head of the pact in each event) and to get assigned to a new group of 100-ish to start all over. If you don't get eliminated and you're the first to finish the final event, you (and only you) get a big, fancy crown, more points than anyone else, and a brief victory screen ("second place don't mean a thing"). It's just as lighthearted as the in-game visuals make it look. The thrill of racing, the comedy of the costumes and obstacles, and a dash of schadenfreude. If you've ever seen game shows like _Takeshi's Castle_ or _Wipeout_ or Nickelodeon's _GUTS,_ it's a similar basic idea.

He had a song take off like crazy on Tiktok fairly recently called The Fine Print. You might consider checking that one out if you haven't already.

You should react to his fallout 76 music video, it's even better than the game... But I guess that's a low bar to set. But it's really good, so check it out!!!
