The Map Cartographer I really wish it was an attack in Smash. Maybe a final smash or an air smash attack. I know we have the shoulder tackle dash attack but it's more like a kindaspark

Chaofanatic I really liked this video reminds me of what I thought metroid 1 and 2 and 3 looked liked when I first played them

I loved how the afterimages flew in separate directions on impact, just like in Super Metroid.

Eventually Samus stopped thinking.

Congrats on making it to recommended 7 years later. Wonderful animation

I really love the attention to detail on this! You nailed the door transition at 0:11, and the shinespark collision animation at 0:46. Nice!!

I dunno about you guys, but if i were that Samus I'd be wearing a space helmet full of puke. But ya know, if I didn't have vertigo then That would be *awesome*!

adamtheamazing64 Plus her alien bird DNA must have given her the ability to counteract vertigo like most birds seem to lack.

49 onwards it's just a _fuck you physics_ moment. I guess that bouncing out of a sudden implies that suddendly Smash Bros Physics work as she gets damaged by the moon's surface. but... the camera pans to the left once she has left.... then... she appears to the right? did she manage to make one whole orbit in less than 1 second?

She must've had every energy tank in the game

Later, Samus would awaken in the speed force, along with Kid Flash, who was basically stuck there since the ending of Young Justice.

The Storm missile are basically just Seaker missles, which were introduced in Prime 2 back in the mid 2000s, so I wouldn’t exactly call it a prediction.

I've always imagined that something similar would happen if you do a shinespark in an area without ceiling. That animations and SFX. Great job for making it so great and hilarious.

That was fantastic. Awesome animation, hilarious ending. Feels like a refrence to an old Metroid comic with a similar plot.

When you're speedrunning and forget the last missile expansion

AMAZING! Super Metroid was one of the best... ever... I would love to see more :D I especially love the fact that you took the concepts from the game, instead of just creating your own BS (aside from the charge beam > 5 missile thing... but that can be forgiven as it's something that would appear within a metroid game... :D)
