Dear Scheiße-Demon --- I am so tired of you because, if, Americans would learn German, which is fairly easy, then people would know how benign and harmless these lyrics truly are. Especially in Germany, this type of music is considered "Techno"; however, in the United States its considered old-school, Industrial-Goth/Future Pop/EBM (Electronic Body Music) so named, specifically because of the heavy synthesizers and the deep rhythmic beats, methodically uses a rhythm, which is dynamically hard and it's perfectly meant to get you dancing. This is "NOT" about killing anyone. Nor, should it be associated with the Stoneman Douglas High School killings, nor will I repeat the shooters name. The Virgin Superstar album, was released in 2000 by Steve Naghavi and Chris Ruiz the founders/musicians which comprise the band And One, and as a global sensation. They do not endorse; nor, have they ever advocated any hatred, racism, or violent actions. Steve Naghavi is not even all Caucasian in descent. The only, "Demon" this murderer had, was a "fictionization" he thought to create because it was sung in German. Unfortunately, people will assume anything that sounds Germanic is associated with the evils of the "NAZI Third Reich". In most Western European Countries', English is required learning, because it is universally spoken. When traveling in Germany, if you're lost or need help, ask anyone under 25 year's old and they usually speak English. There is more German blood, literally sitting on the, Throne of England than what people ever think. The entire English language is historically rooted in German. So, staying with the same logic, the simplest translation of what the Panzermensch is: First split the word into two parts: Panzer mensch (capital letters, indicate nouns or proper-nouns) * Panzer = armor or "Tank" * mensch = look at the first three letters. You have "men", multiple for more than one man, so the men who operate __________ fill-in the blank. = Together, Panzer-mensch refers to "Tank-Operator(s)". Referencing to the men, who operate tanks. It's that easy... !!! The simplest way of doing something, is usually the correct way. ** Please, don't reply with the histrionics of the German language, German culture, or some trite Americanized translation which is usually done by high school students, just learning to speak German by restating "no, it means": A man in armor; Armor plated trucks; or, Men wearing bulletproof tactical gear. TL;DR, I read enough to get your point. I never fully learned German but I know enough to get a decent understanding of most of And One’s songs. People see German music as being associated with evil somehow but it’s no different from American music, really. German pop music vs American has no difference. Metal music, no difference in most cases, other than language. I began listening to German music when I was trying to learn German because the German community in my area is rather small so I had no one to practice with, so the music gave me a way to help myself remember words. I just used it as a tool and I also discovered a lot of music I liked. I love the music of And One and I even downloaded a lot of albums from other German artists like Beatrice Egli. There’s nothing darker about German music than American music. I mean good god, A7X has songs about Necrophilia and rape. People who don’t understand at all will associate German with anger or evil for stupid reasons, but when you know the words you realize it’s not any worse than the music that America produces Also, yes. German people settled in England. The languages are so closely related that it’s insanely easy to learn one from the other. English has a lot of French influence as well, which is where the two languages split away. The grammar and sentence structure of English and German as almost identical. I don’t know why I get all these people saying that panzermensch means a guy in a suit of armor. It makes no sense to me. I have always interpreted it as a tank operator, but everyone tells me I’m wrong. When I was learning German I tried really hard to crack the code and figure out the grammatical quirks on my own and it took me a while but I had it figured out. I think the people who say it’s a guy in a suit of armor are basing it on the translation of panzer to armor, but they don’t realize that even in English, tanks are sometimes referred to as “armor.” Also: I, too, am very annoyed by the fact that every single comment I get anymore is about some demon and I don’t understand it at all. I like the attention to my video all the sudden, but I don’t like that everyone is going to associate it with some psycho

My old post was meant to be lightheartedly informative; but, after I kept getting notification from other links, about the "JCS Criminal Psychology" which, just featured the Stoneman Douglass killer and said he was playing And One's, Panzermensch because a demon told him. Most people don't even know this song was released in 2000, so this was not about, some evil "Nazi plot". Sky --- You're absolutely correct about "Tank-Operator(s)", this is the right translation. Germans, as well as, Germany have no tolerance for American ignorance. No one, appreciates how damaging it is, to receive notifications from commenters calling me a "Nazi". But at least, I can try to educate people.

if you understand German you'll see that these lyrics aren't particularly evil or misanthropic. basically it's something like "tanker men dance like crazy and are always prepared to dance like crazy in the energy of EDM music." that's not even a close translation which I could do if someone would like, but it's the essence of the meaning.. you shout it while you're dancing at an EDM show and feel tough and powerful. A channel called JCS Criminal Psychology sis a video about a school shooter and mentioned that the perpetrator listened to this song when he committed the atrocity so that’s been the entirety of my comment section ever since. Basically the kid tried to claim insanity and said “the demon chose the song” and “the demon told me to do it”
