The gesture Nandor makes when he says 'ARISE' is probably, if I had to pick one, my favourite joke in the whole thing so far. It just tickles me.

I have a rotation for top 3 favorite jokes or scenes. The first talking heads for Nadja and Laszlo in s2 e1 when she goes "*cough cough* told you so" and then Laszlo goes "*cough cough* ya fcking didn't," with that head and hand gesture... 😂😂😂 kills me

@@meltharion316 hahahaha yes. So many of my favourite things in the show aren't 'gags' as much as tiny little acting choices that just crack me up. The email curse one where Laszlo throws his arm up 'Don't look, my darling! It's too dangerous!' and Nadja leans past him to eyeball the camera :D

The mailer demon joke was probably the best one. It had me laughing so hard the first time i saw it

One of the writers said in an interview that his children were an inspiration for the "guess what..." joke since children can be energy vampires. This show is one of the best I've ever seen. Everbody I had watch it was hooked in an instant

Seriously though - if someone pays me with an ancient coin - I'll take the coin and pay for them out of my own pocket. Ancient coins are really valuable.

*sometimes. A local reenactor was giving out some coins a couple years ago. I got one and looked it up; a British Halfpenny. One of the most counterfeited coins in the British Americas. (I wonder how he got his...) Anyway, even without provenance the things go for $20+ each nowadays. If he didn't have other income streams, I'd assume to know how he pays his bills ;-)

@@carldooley9344 jesus, your comment just made a 30 yr old memory hit me lit lightning! I'm in NJ and my grandfather actually HAD a couple counterfeit copper british halfpence from 1788. Seems there was a way-back relative working a mill here in the Northeast that pumped them out around that time and the diecutters would circulate them. Good to know that my neurons aren't completely bashed by age yet! Lol

I’m struggling to see how the vampires differ from most of the users I used to support in ICT support roles. Albeit the bald vampire with glasses looks familiar, I feel like I’ve met a lot of his relatives.
