It also blocks like a monster, the thing has fucking 60 stability and 80% reduction, you can pull off emergency blocks and guard counter surprises with this thing, its honestly one of the best weapons fromsoft has ever made.

Loved to pvp with Fume against invaders in DS3. You basically couldnt hit anyone with it normally so it was more or less tricking people into running into it

Weow he's still at it huh? I remember being in a pvp tournament with and against Brandon in dark souls 1. That was 14 ish years ago. Crazy how fast time flies huh.

I remember watching you all the way back in DS1 when you went darkmoon blade falchion and WOG and just went to town on people in the darkroot forest. Glad to see you still got it.

I been a Dex fanboy for 6 years but I started this dlc strength build and now I’m never going back.

Immediate thoughts when I found the sword were "Holy shit, this thing is sexy", then I got bored with kinda quickly, but THEN I found the deflecting tear and saw how good this thing is at blocking, and I was right back at "Holy shit".

Love the fashion, I was running something super similar for most of the dlc. Also, the black knight set and malikeths set goes together really well ;)

I had a feeling you'd love this weapon, since so many of your invasions come down to poking and roll catching and its ash is basically the stinger from DMC. Plus its a cool big sword.

I respecd immediately upon getting it. New favorite weapon and weapon art looks so good to me. If you free aim, you can change the direction during it which comes in clutch in mobs. Great single damage and decent aoe.

Obobobo, imma just say that I fucken love you dude, ever since the days of the hide n seek in the shaded forest with SLB, you just prove it time and time again that you are the elden lord of pvp, first clip made my muscles pump up so hard that I picked up the Fume ultra greatsword with one hand and decimated an entire forest with one swing 💪

I love Oro’s attitude. He respects his opponent no matter what.

If he were going to abuse rolling sparks I don't think he'd have opened with a running r1, because why do anything other than rolling sparks if you're going to abuse rolling sparks. You might've just tunneled some unsuspecting regular perfumer, the poor sod. xD

Hm. Just had a small lore thought for this weapon. The description states that it was part of an 'old gods' arsenal' but the material still had to come from somewhere. Could this meteoric ore imbued with white light have come from the shooting stars than delivered the Elden Beast and Mother of Fingers to the Lands Between?

try not to be fooled by the AR tab as it isn’t always accurate; if it does split damage it’ll have or show a higher AR but that doesn’t exactly mean you’ll be doing more damage unless the enemy has weaknesses to it. hate to say it but on most weapons, even though bleed can drop your AR by, i think, 50-150 points? you’ll still out DPS most things just due to the bleed alone - weak to it or not.

last invasion was the best, host was not half bad too

It’s currently bugged for some people. I know a lot of people aren’t having issues while the other side are describing your experience. It’s new so I know the mod creator is currently looking into resolving some of the issues on it.

Isn't level 90 a bit low. Just for farming low levels?

I've been using this weapon for a while now and it doesn't seem white light charge true combos. Seem to be able to roll out of the explosion. Has anyone found out a trick for this?

The weapon art doesn't true combo, does it? Range dependent? I feel like I've had people roll out but at the same time I've gotten some straight up oneshots from it.

A total skill issue on my part, but I was level 174 when I entered the DLC and I cannot imagine being RL 90

The only thing that makes this weapon disappointing is that the ash of war aoe second hit can still be rolled out of even if you get the first hit.

not everything should be a true combo, and many ashes of war that have true combos usually shouldnt

@@TarnishedProductions but on a relatively mid speed ash of war that doesn't quite do one shot damage, with a small hitbox that you can only really hit if someone panic rolls? I would have to say I disagree. But fair enough, it'll just be another dead pvp weapon that only works against players who don't have the reaction time to press dodge after getting hit.

@@Jormyyy under ideal connection it does not combo, you don't need to spam even, I actually tested several times getting hit by it, not hard to dodge, you can input the Dodge before you are out of stun from the first hit, I could do it consistently with one input. It's just.... Disappointing.

first time seeing the stat requirement for this weapon.. why isnt it an int weapon? int builds are so dead in this dlc. speaking as someone who hardly ever plays int

I do kinda wish for PvE that the follow up AoW explosion was at least a little bigger, it's a little difficult to hit some of the smaller enemies but NPCs basically don't even try to react to it so it's fine I guess?
