A crowd of ancient Hellenic souls has gathered around you to listen to your music, once again.

Casting energy with the Orpheus hymn to Apollo is how I ‘consecrate’ a space for performance or rehearsal, in a sacred personal ritual if only to ready myself and connect with the ‘spirit’ of music. Oh how lovely to see how many of us have gathered here in good spirits in Apollo’s light, I’m about to cry 😅 What lovely souls, and what lovely music. 🥰

I'm so excited to read your comment! ❤ I'm Canadian and I first learned of Apollo in grade school (around 10 years old - so, over 50 years ago!) .. but I remember the teacher telling us like it was yesterday! Ever since that time I have felt an affinity❤. My career for over 30 years was as a music therapist working with Alzheimer patients. Before I would leave my car and go into the care home I would say a little prayer to Apollo 🎶❤️

This song had my 15 year old daughter absolutely spellbound and so overcome with emotion she (and myself) couldn't trust ourselves to speak for some time afterwards. This almost feels like lament to Kalliope and Apollo if the gods had shunned us to wander without inspiration! :)

What a beautiful performance, beautifully filmed. This musician helps me imagine what the ancient Greeks heard, how a voice (thinking of Orpheus) could transport a listener, how an instrument could evoke a vast array of feelings and mental states. I listened repeatedly, entranced, and even my puppy (whose lineage is said to go back to the time of Aristotle) quieted down and listened with me. Many thanks to Thanasis Kleopas for his glorious singing and playing, and for composing this hypnotic beauty, set in the very place of Aristotle's birth.

Η αρχαία Ελληνική Γλώσσα κάθ' εαυτού έχει μουσικότητα,οι τόνου είναι τα μουσικά σημεία και γενικά όταν ομιλείται έχει μια αρμονίαν που δεν υφίσταται σε καμία άλλην Γλώσσα. Η νεοελληνική που μιλάμε είναι απλουστευμένη (κακώς) αλλά πιστεύω ότι έγινε για να γίνει πιο εύκολη.

He just puts so, so much feeling into his song and it's so wonderful and this is the most lovely music I have ever heard.

Το βλέμμα σας κύριε Κλέοπα προς την λύρα σας μετά την τελευταία σας "πενιά", ήταν όλα τα λεφτά... Ήταν σαν την ματιά Εραστή, που ευχαριστεί την ερωμένη του με ευγνωμοσύνη για το μαγικό ταξίδι ευχαρίστησης και αυτοεκπλήρωσης που του προσέφερε...
