Vicky2 messed up Rome, only for that, they would have been utterly dominating

That's why you avoid researching nationalism and imperialism if you are a multicultural empire.
It was brilliantly cool to see how Carthage and Persia's fragmentation brought about new states.

The Roman Comeback of the 50s was incredible.
Parthia turned into a show of lights during the Ck portion.
I know this might be controversial but I think Imperator Rome might not be suited for Mega Campain. You get these big empires that basically never collapse and that destroy any culture in their way resulting in basically no diversity. It would be fine if it was only one big empire (See Romans OTL) but it is always several and after that the culture mapmode is just 3 colours.
@GeneralPol
Жыл бұрын
Yeah it does, which is why for some of my mega campaigns I start in CK3. I try to mitigate this a little, by running Invictus and extended timeline

IR is FAR more enjoyable when you take away AI's cheats (there is a mod for that in workshop). Main reason for these super empires is that AI gets a big buff to province loyality. Without it they have a reasonable chance to crumble like a fucking crouton.

@@GeneralPol for eu 4 I can recommend two mods for eu4. One is the rebel buff mod and the other is Disaster: Eclipse of Empires. But the latter has a few bugs. Namely that the disaster does not disappear when you successfully survive.

Why did gypsyland have so many cores anyway? Can you show the culture map of VIC2 next timelapse, please?
@GeneralPol
Жыл бұрын
Not sure why they got so many cores. Apologies on the culture map, actually thought I had included it
Everyone's talking about Gypsyland and China but I just wanna say Parthia was COOKING. M*cedonians got their shit kicked in, and the glorious heptadic Partho-Rajasthani culture reigned supreme. The succession crises caused them some issues and the Mongols deleted them but their culture and religion stood the test of time.
@GeneralPol

Parthia did really well, and like all great empires their impact lasted centuries

I just wish CK3 empires weren't always so fragile. Out of countless timelapses I've watched, I could count on one hand the number of empires that _didn't_ fall into a million pieces at the last second.

Just for Imperator, Invictus & extended timeline. Not sure how u could integrate any others into the other games
This is a large reason why I would like Paradox Interactive combine all of these games of theirs including Imperator Rome, Victoria 3, Blood and Iron combined in addition to the games that you list here into a single officially interconnected game rather than remaining as a completely separate game.
