    I thin it was Pharaoh Hatshepsuut who brought exotic animals and plants into Egypt not Thutmose... Thutmose grew up after the trade she did and he was pretty much involved in war expeditions and extending the Egypt empire into syria and he was the first king ever to inscribe the word Israel into the walls of an egypt temple. Hatshepsuut did the trade and brought back many exotic creatures and plants and even gold and she was a woman who was not afraid.
