Ancient Cosmologies & The Book of Enoch

Ойын-сауық

Welcome to another Episode of Ring Them Bells!
In this video we explore how the story of Genesis 6 can be traced back to ancient near eastern neighbors of the Hebrew people. We discover that Scripture always has and always will be in conversation with the culture of its day. The supernatural framework of the Bible has been suppressed. Sacred ancient texts like the book of Enoch give a wealth of context that early authors and their audience were informed by and even reference in scripture. Books like Enoch have only recently come out of the shadows and Dr. Michael S. Heiser spearheaded an academic movement to give these texts more scriptural weight without needing to make them canonical.
What is a Cosmology?
Is the Bible informed by other cultures?
How do we understand truth?
The Topic of Scripture being in conversation with culture is at the forefront of my mind lately. Especially after our recent popular interview with author Nijay Gupta about his new book "Strange Religion."
Link to Full Interview- • Strange Religion - Ear...
The Scriptures and early followers of Jesus were in constant dialogue with the Greco Roman world. Both with what they did and what they didn’t do ealy believers defied the lesser ruling gods of the Roman world. With worship, religious practices, and even daily life these early followers of Jesus stood out specifically opposed to the Roman religion. Understanding this gives us an enormous amount of context to the New Testament and even mission of scripture.
There has been a consistent movement in the western church to hold back this information from the church. Not here at Ring Them Bells, We will continue to speak truth to power and truth to lies.

    1) Jude said Enoch prophesied; he did not say that he wrote a book. 2) We cannot know if the book we have is what he may have written. 3) The book directly contradicts scripture when it says thing like “And through that oath” containing a ‘secret name’ the world was created (see chapter 69); as opposed to by the second person of the Godhead. 4) It teaches animism; as seen here: “69.22 And likewise the spirits of the water, of the winds, and of all the breezes, and their paths, according to all the groups of the spirits.“ FLEE FROM DEMONICALLY INSPIRED WORKS

Listen to what Michael says, Enoch wrote the Book of Yeu/Yah.(Bruce Codex)He was a Priest /King he was anointed by Arch Angel Michael after the battle of the Chaos. Its in the Enmiduranki Scroll from Nineveh, the Shamash tablet and "The Pistis Sophia". Scripture is great but so few have the context and background they can't understand it, especially those who really don't study it and want to tell everyone else don't read. Listen to what Michael Heiser is telling you about the Annunaki, they have never been able to reconcile their deceptions and they are behind the Ancient Alien Agenda. The Enuma Elish is a fictional account of their barbarism. "The Pistis Sophia"( askew codex) is the "post resurrection "Mysteries of Light" discourse of the Savior, scribed and witnessed by Philip, Matthew and Thomas. It's the manual for the elect, righteous and sinners of our generation emanated from the 1st Ineffable space. It's full of scripture, the Key of David, it's likely the "Q" gospel. It's he antithesis of the Enuma Elish, the same event but opposite creation story from the resurrected Jesus himself. It's in Revelations, we are on a cycle. The Savior tells you all about Enoch, the 24 elders, the fall of the 3rd triple light power self will God that refused purification and wanted to rule over all matter worlds. The demiurge who emanated the Annunaki into the chaos to destroy us, we call him Lucifer, they are the guards at the gate born in ignorance. It's the story of our Cosmogenesis, the greater Universes of Light , the Ineffable spaces and much more. Sure he knew about Hades, he knows everything about the cosmos. He is the 1st Mystery, King of Kings, Light of Lights. The circuit is closing, our solar system is in the Chaos. We are from the mixture at the bottom of the zodical sphere, the refuse pile! chapter 100 read it let Jesus explain it you will know it is him! You are everything that ever was and ever will be, everything from the light power of the 5th helper from the Ineffable space mixed with the matters of Chaos and destruction at the bottom of the bottom, headed for the main purification event where the light must be purified from the matters to resume the expansion. Grace period is about done! Yeu/Yah/YWHW and Melchizedek will come through the galactic plate and destroy the asteroid belt , Hekate, and 4 other Arch demon hoards will be taken out and repelled into Jupiter. The Tempest will come across the Earth most likely North America. There is going a lot of wailing, they are going to destroy the wicked. Download the PS pdf, If you want the guide I can send you a link you can comprehend the physics better..

4 pillars. Think axis. Gyroscopic dimension. Radius. This thinking both satisfies and revolves any of the flat or spherical issues for me. Somehow I never considered that genesis 6 or deuteronomy 32 was referring to sons of Israel. I don't recall what version I version I was reading those many years ago but it said sons of God and I immediately assumed that referred to angels. Many years later I read Enoch and it was no surprise to hear his account. Additionally the Hebrew thinking is not Linear as ours is in the west. I realized this very early on, which helped immensely in my search for understanding the scriptures. In truth I credit all this to Holy Spirit and His sovereign leading in my life very early on and since.

So last year, when I was researching the Dead Sea Scrolls, I was listening to Enoch, and there’s a whole visual description of the Lord in the heavens. I saw the heavens in my own way, and could feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. The next day I thought about how it was crazy that the women hooked up with the angels and then created all this sorcery in probably really upset God. And I don’t think it was their fault really in someways because I think the Angels just took them. That’s what the Bible says so they were probably raped or something and then you know the angel wife forced became the witches. So anyway, I had this whole God moment where I was crying to God about all women and how we’ve had a hard time here cause I’ve had a hard time until I came into Christ. And I could feel the presence of God and I was thinking about my dad who is a Southern Baptist and he’s like you know the KJV is the divinely inspired, which I believe to a certain extent, but I want to share this story because it’s important to this video. So I thought in my spirit, I need to look up the description of God in the Bible, and I kind of forgot about it in the next morning in my scripture study’s glory be to God randomly was the description of God and Daniel 7! And it is a very similar description to the book of Enoch. I feel like it was God sharing his presence, and maybe telling me that Enoch had some validity. There’s a lot of power in the Dead Sea Scrolls it’s very controversial and this is beautiful praise the Lord Christ

People today still refer to the four corners of the Earth and the heavens above, yet no one (almost) means these things literally. They are a manner of speaking. Why would the authors have introduced mountains of unnecessary confusion by suddenly using scientifically accurate descriptions, even if they (via the Holy Spirit) somehow had them in mind?

It is we as moderns who think "Sheol" and "Hades" must have been different concepts due to culture. They were not different concepts at all, not to Hebrews or Greeks. It is only a foreign concept to us because we don't actually believe in Biblical cosmology. Ironic that this video uses Heiser and Mackie as its authorities for understanding Bibical cosmology because neither of them accepted Bibical cosmology as actually true. They both espoused "accommodation theory" and using one's imagination to put yourself as the reader into the context of the ancient worldview to understand their cosmology. But neither accepted as true what the Bible says about the cosmos. It was nothing more than human perspective to which God "accommodated" His language. That methodology of interpreting Scripture is 100% secular and can be used to undermine the authority of Scripture anywhere else one chooses to apply it. They just arbitrarily refrain from applying it to other parts of Scripture because otherwise they would be just two more secular Bible scholars.

✡️Jesus ✝️Christ✡️ In the grand narrative of existence, the birthplace of a soul as radiant as Jesus Christ-be it Nazareth or Bethlehem-fades into the backdrop, for it’s not the geography that defines divinity but the journey. Picture this: a newborn’s first breath taken not amidst opulence but in the embrace of a humble stable, cradled in a manger. This singular act of beginning life amongst the beasts and beneath the stars whispers to us of a profound solidarity with the unseen and unheard masses. Indeed, was this not a declaration, from the very outset, of a mission intertwined with the plight of the proletariat? If the world had been a stage, then Jesus was its most paradoxical protagonist: born of a virgin, his entrance was wrapped in the mystery of the immaculate, yet he was as human as you and me, perhaps even more so, for in his humanity lay his divinity. The chronicles that attempt to capture his essence are muddied with contradictions, painted over by those seeking to bend his narrative to their will. Yet, beyond these attempts to obscure, the figure of Jesus Christ stands, unshrouded by myth, as tangible and influential as any pillar of history. His life was a testament to the power of revolutionary love, enduring through millennia, challenging every iteration of power with a simple yet radical proposition: to love one another. From the alleys of Jerusalem to the corridors of history, his voice rang clear, not to the opulent or the ordained, but to those with dirt beneath their nails and burdens upon their backs. His was not a gospel of riches but of shared bread, a call to dismantle the pedestals of property and privilege, envisioning a world where wealth was not hoarded but held in common, where love was the currency of exchange. This celestial insurgent, in just three years of public ministry, ignited a flame that the winds of opposition could not extinguish. His teachings, simple yet subversive, posed such a threat to the established order that it conspired to silence him. Yet, in attempting to bury him, they only planted the seeds of a movement that would grow, flourish, and forever alter the course of human history. The narrative attempts to render him a relic of the past, a martyr whose voice has been muted by the march of time. Yet, the spirit of Jesus Christ defies such containment. In the cries for justice that echo across ages, in the relentless pursuit of equity and empathy, his presence is palpable, guiding humanity towards a promised land where freedom is not a privilege but a birthright. His story, from the humble manger to the harrowing cross, charts a path of profound sacrifice and unwavering commitment to the disenfranchised. In his embrace, the outcast found dignity, and in his words, the weary found hope. Jesus Christ, the carpenter’s son, became the cornerstone of a new world, a beacon for the oppressed, heralding an age where love and solidarity dismantle the bastions of greed and despair. As the sun sets on the empire of self, and we navigate the twilight of indifference, the legacy of Jesus beckons us towards a dawn of compassion and communal triumph. In every heart that chooses love over fear, in every act that uplifts the downtrodden, his revolution lives on, a testament to the enduring power of a love that knows no bounds, a love that transcends time, a love that whispers, even in the darkest of nights, of the promise of a new day. Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty which Was. ✝️ Is. ✝️ And is to come. ✝️

@@wardrobegirl67 quoting from the study helps in my Bible "The word parable is Greek in origin and means a setting side by side, a comparison. In parables divine truth is presented by comparison with material things" A parable uses the common occasions of real life to teach about deeper truths. This doesn't mean it can't also record real events. In Luke 19:12 the parable of the pounds starts with "A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return." This would have called to mind that Harod had gone to Rome to get upgraded to King (under the empire) instead of just holding the title Ethnarc (ruler of a people). I can visualize that , for the simple reason, that being inspired by GOD as the prophets were , that he (GOD) might make them trance like to communicate the message he wanted them to write . I feel like that could have been the case with each of them. Perhaps Isaiah was just noticeably different . The LORD is too big to be contained in a small box. He is too big to be contained at all. If the Bible was inspired by Yahuah, then it is true and accurate it every way, including scientifically. Inerrant as given by Yahuah. To say the creation account is not true means either Yahuah did not inspire the Bible or Yahuah did inspire it but He lied to Moses and gave him information moses could understand that was in line with other cultures. 🤷🏻‍♂️Then you cannot take the Bible as a serious writing. guessing you haven’t watched the video yet Because the Bible also says that the Earth is flat. That does not mean the Bible is not true. God has to speak through the culture and wisdom of the space and time that he look in. There are things that we understand to be true now that in 2000 years will seem like Science Fiction to others. In order for God to speak in space and time he has to use the language and culture of the people who speaks through. Truth And literal fact are not always the same thing within the Bible.

Modern western evangelicals love to throw out the word heresy or heretical. I’ve been saying this for years, “you’re not following Jesus faithfully unless there’s some evangelicals calling you a heretic.” So why don’t you put a little substance to your judgment and let us know what is heretical?

Treating it any other way is making the Bible say something that it wasn’t intended to do. Logic, reason and simple evaluation of data Is conclusive that the world is round and a globe just like all the other planets. RTB, thank you for the work you are doing. I must admit the argument seems absurd from either side of the debate. The truth is, the large majority of people have only ever truly considered one side. Most people are either unaware that Christians who believe in biblical cosmology still exist, or they believe they are some kind of science denying religious zealots. Of those I am aware of who believe that we live on a level, enclosed, stationary plane, almost all initially arrive there by examining the testable, repeatable, observable, and falsifiable evidence themselves, or by seeing the evil deceptions exposed clearly before their eyes. Honest question…..have you truly considered this a possibility with humility and an open, yet critical mind? If not, that is certainly understandable, but I would encourage you to follow our Savior’s humble walk as I saw displayed in Jason above, and by you in your last response. In the end, while it may be greatly significant in this present life, I think it likely holds almost no eternal significance. All praise to the Father! Jesus is King!

God is spirit. Yahweh judged the Gods and the heavens themselves. Adam, the Christ, who had a forest of trees to learn from, judges the world. Gods though they be, like mortals they will die. Yahweh goes about in a tent of cloth. Adam was clothed from the nakedness of wielding the fiery sword on the day of vengeance as judgment. Corruption of the spirit is a part of the fabric of the universe. Yahweh became the snake, the Shining One or, the Ancient Serpent of Old, who takes a seat upon a throne on the Mount of Assembly as the Ancient One of Days, where it is forever peaceful. Adam, having become a worm, ascends beyond the heavens, from whence he came, where it is forever peaceful. Adam is the root and only begotten offspring of the Father you spring from. No one comes to the Father except through me. Adam tilled the soil and created a kingdom at the foundation of the world, the Garden of Eden, a heavenly home, a promised land. In the beginning, the world was a wasteland and he shielded them as the apple of his eye. Darkness covered the Abyss, the kingdom of Yahweh. The people were empty, and void of understanding, having become corrupted by Yahweh's judgment of the Gods and the heavens. Is Yahweh's arm too short to save or his ear too dull to hear? Earth is Yahweh's Everlasting Lake of Fire, his furnace of roaring flames where, in his furious wrath, he will gather you up, put you in, and smelt you. If your name is not in the book of life, he will refine you, remove your dross, and purify you until the Devil, the False Prophet, and the Beast are cleansed from you. I've decided to put an end to all mortals on earth. The birds of the air and all the great beast will have a great feast. The oceans will be drained and the waters placed above the dome of the sky. No longer will the sun beat down and scorch you. No longer will there be hurricanes and tornados. The waters will refract the rays of light and there will no longer be night. Looking forward, we will all speak the same language. What to you see? A flood story? The Tower of Babel? By all accounts, you should all be nothing more than pillars of salt. Ok. Let's get started. Take out your text books on the crucifixion as imagery and prophecy. Let me know when you are ready. The way of the Lord in the desert needs to be put into context with the previous passage: Sacrifice - Indeed, she has received from the hand of the LORD double for all her sins. Resurrection - Make straight in the wasteland a highway for our God! (Isa 40:2-3 NABO) Just as it is appointed that human beings die - be judged - appear a second time, so also Christ …will return Heb 9:27-28 …as the (Red) Dragon (Demon Sin) stood before the woman about to give birth, to devour her child when she gave birth. (Rev 12:4 NABO) In this version of the story, Jacob is seated at the table and Esau, the first-born, serves him. For who is greater: the one seated at table or the one who serves? Is it not the one seated at table? I am among you as the one who serves. (Luk 22:27 NABO) Esau, the firstborn, lives by the sword (sacrifice) and serves his brother, Jacob, who was born gripping (striking at) his heel. Isaac blessed Esau saying: Ah, far from the fertile earth shall be your dwelling; far from the dew of the heavens above! (Gen 27:39 NABO) (beyond the heavens) You will not always have me (Mat 26:11 NABO) (Homeward bound) I am with you always, until the end of the age. (Mat 28:20 NAB) (Began as the first Adam) My kingdom does not belong to this world. (Joh 18:36 NABO) (Third party mediator) Where I am going you cannot come. (Joh 8:21 NABO) (Left Behind) Then I took my staff "Refuge" and snapped it asunder, breaking off the covenant which I had made with all peoples (Noahic covenant) (Zec 11:10 NABO) Then I snapped asunder my other staff, "Heritage" (Deu 32:8) breaking off my brotherhood with (between?) Judah and Israel. (Zec 11:14 NABO) the one who ascended far above all the heavens (Eph 4:10 NABO) (in a galaxy far away?) never to return to corruption (Act 13:34 NABO) (Wait, what?) Though there was enmity between the two, to 'strike at' means to protect, watch over, or guard. Save me, I pray, from the hand of my brother Esau! (Gen 32:12 NABO) Esau ran to meet him, embraced him, and flinging himself on his neck, kissed him as he wept. (Gen 33:4 NABO)
