Here are your Answers. 1] The strategy works on any market that has good volume. Indiced and major stocks are good to trade with this strategy. 2] Timeframes are subjective. For swing trading use a timeframe larger than 1 hour. For daytrading use the regular vwap instead of the ANCHORED VWAP 3] No changes to the settings of the Anchored VWAP. Just turn of the bands in the settings and you are good to go. Hope I answered your questions..

Timeframes are really subjective. If day trading is your goal, I would suggest using the regular VWAP . Anchored Vwap is designed for higher timeframe or swing traders.

Sir, In forex pairs SPREAD TRADING do you recommend use of CCI (say on1H chart--cci 7,cci 14, cci30,cci50 values & add all these values on each pairs to spread & compare overpriced/underpriced leg).The pairs got to have correlations of at least 90%(say aud/usd &nzd/usd--aud/jpy &nzd/jpy--eur/jpy & gbp/jpy--gbp/aud & gbp/nzd etc.).Sell the overpriced & buy underpriced. This would give trader starting edge, staying power, size choice & risk control. You would be comparing deflection of prices summed up on multiple time frames(added up/robust) for asset A & B. All wisdom appreciated.

It is anchored on either the lowest point or the highest candle...for e.g if you anchor it on Oct 2008the lowest candle in many years you would see how in 2020 it touched the anchored vwap at7500 and moved up

Good video! How do we know price is not reversing whe price gives you a price more than its fair value that means when it goes to the other side

Contrary to the claims of Trade Prime, the VWAP is in fact a moving average (volume weighted) AND an indicator. An "indicator" is simply something that indicates. The VWAP indicates whatever you suppose it indicates. The VWAP is no more a drawing tool than any other moving average is a drawing tool. The so-called anchored VWAP is nothing more than a VWAP that starts calculating from a price bar you specify instead of from the first price bar of a session.

this is true, and if you click on enough candles it will always cross something that looks like support or resistance. dont gamble life savings on this indicator . as usual you'll need several indicators to give confluence

Timeframes are completly dependent on you as a trader. These strategies should work on all timeframes. Just don't trade them on ULTRA low timeframes like the 1-min or 3-min charts. Anything above that should be good to go. You can trade it on any instrument, forex, crypto, indices, stocks, etc. Any liquid instrument should be good.

To answer your question, let me first clarify that this is not the regular VWAP; it is anchored VWAP. With that being said, there are no changes to the settings. Keep it as default.

@@tuckerbutter Those are called deviation bands and they help you know when price has moved a significant amount away from the VWAP line. There are specific strategies you can use with these. For now, feel free to turn those lines off

@@tuckerbutter And be sure HLC3 is selected as "source", set the VWAP line to the first thickness/white colored/90% opacity (so it's not too bright), uncheck "Price Label", and then save this setting within the indicator as "Single Band" or "Standard VWAP"
