NHI is not a bad idea. UK, France, Sweden, Netherlands all these advanced countries have it. the problem is in SA we know they'll steal the money instead of helping the poor

​@@lm_b5080 and if you go and look at what the people say in those countries. Not all but most have reported decline in health services and they blame NHI. Canda also has a "successful" NHI , but people report 6-8 hour waits. Procedures taking up to a year and longer for approval. Red tape, vetting, ANC will never pull this off.

President Ramaphosa and Clement, NHI will not address the problem of Health System in South Africa, instead it will cause a distraction to system. we know the Funder of NHI is from SARS General Tax, and other taxes of the Goverment, which means that, Tax payers from Corporate Income Tax Revenue Assessment and Individual Tax will automatically contributing to NHI, so, Tax payers are going to pay High sars income Tax Revenue. Who will be the drivers of NHI?.

Trust me this is not coming from an ANC supporter, but there is a certain level of respect that one must afford a sitting president.
