In this video we take a look at ArkOS, a superb frontend for your RG350 device. Once you have it installed on your microSD card you can just add your own game roms collection to the folders - it's an easy process!

You have a lot of cores on there that I haven’t checked out yet so now I have something to search for, thanks! So many systems out there that I’ve never actually seen in use. I tend to spend too much of my time configuring mine instead of actually playing games.

ArkOS is hands down the best firmware for the RG series. While I've gotten a good amount of Dreamcast games running. and PSX is flawless, I think this system works best running handheld roms (GB/GBA, Game Gear, NGPC). The screen is just too tiny to fully appreciate some blockbuster console games. Good luck enjoying a full playthrough of Final Fantasy 9 with the system 2 inches from your face. I remember begging my folks for a Game Gear cir. 1995. Came packed with Super Columns and I used all my allowance for a copy of Sonic Triple Trouble. The system was $200 back then, adjusted for inflation, today that's around $350. Game Gear used 6 AA batteries and you were lucky to get 5 hours of playtime out of them. God bless technology depreciation.

You're right, the original Gameboy titles are superb and play great in this device. PS1 is awesome as well for most shorter games. I used to have a secondhand Game Gear but never really played it, too bulky and heavy when loaded with all those batteries!🙂

arkos is super smooth! i have added some filters to my handhelds including gba to give them the lcd look.gba looks like a real gba screen

It was from a guy who sold the cards all set to go off eBay, link in the description. Else, search ArkOs on eBay👍
my brand new RG351M just arrived, however, the unit doesn't turn on at all.. why? I don't get it..

You might need to leave it plugged in charging for a few hours first.
I have just download Arkos with no emulators on yet on my RG351M, will the emulators just pop up when you put the games on?

I have to ask🤔 does the new rg 351 m with my arkos does it play sega a thomas wave s naomi and sega saturn and also nitendo ds

It can play all of them, but DS is too small on the screen tbh.

I got these running on my RG350 and they were pretty great, although only 50% seemed to work. If I get them working on this, I'll be sure to cover them🙂

Sadly not to my knowledge, it cannot support ArkOS

@@JulesBurt nah that would not be worth it, i love my RG350, unless the 351 has a major spec upgrades then i would consider

@@JulesBurt I failed the first time I tried to put an .exe file in the folder. I think I left some files out. I highly recommend Goosebumps - Escape from Horrorland. Ha

Is it easy to load Roms on the ark os or does it come preloaded with all the roms in this video please.
