Saw these guys at Warped a few days ago. His voice is incredible live. Definitely the cleanest sounding band I heard all day

They're Back

This song gives me chills, like so much of Anberlin's music does. Hello, repeat button, my old friend. I will cry if I don't get to see Anberlin on a headline tour before they call it quits. (I saw (and met) them at Warped Tour in 2008.) I'm thinking they will always be my favorite band. If anyone hopes to take their spot, they've got a tough act to follow.

Even though I didn't discover them till 2008, this band has had a special place in my heart. Thanks for the music, Anberlin. Absolutely cannot wait to see you in November!

ive always loved the lyrical content of Anberlin's songs. especially when they contain the subtle references to God and spirituality like this one. i'm not trying to say you have to listen to it this way, but for me personally it is what makes this song stand out and makes it one of my favorites of theirs for sure. i'm really gonna miss waiting for the next anberlin album!

My heart races every time I listen to Anberlin. It's really unhealthy, but ah this song.

You guys were the "Metallica" for me. Always amazing albums and never a let down during a live concert! All these "old" fans wishing it sounded more like Cities. Well... they aren't fans. I'll never forget the Never Take Friendship Personal album. It is truly one of the best albums of all time.

I'm one of those "old fans" that didn't like the direction they went after cities. But as of last year It finally clicked for those newer albums. I think I just wasn't ready for them at the time of release. I'm going to miss them as they've always put on a great live show.

I wouldn't go so far as to say they "aren't fans". Anberlin touched a level of depth and emotion on Cities as a whole that made fans really connect with them. Some of the other albums come close (parts of New Surrender and Vital), but not so much as a whole as Cities did. The other albums have a lot of great songs. Cities was just the most complete album.

Wait...what? So, because I wanted Anberlin to make another album like Cities, I'm not a fan? That album came out during a low point in my life, and no other album-not any other one from them, nor anyone else-has ever touched me on such a personal level. This band changed my life through that album. Who are you to say I'm not a true Anberlin fan because of that? That's ever so slightly self-righteous, don't you think? As it stands, it's not like I don't love their current style, it's simply my experience that Cities is the most complete, emotionally and spiritually driving album they've ever made. Don't act like your opinion trumps mine.

As a former 'JW'... This song is like someone reach inside me and read my heart. -I do feel lost -I do feel conflict -The clarity is gone I still hear voices...I still hear Jehovah he helped raise me and he will always be with me. -I can't escape this feeling. ~Thank you Anberlin for giving my conflict a name in this theme.~

"jehovah" means "god of discord" it'd be better to call him yahweh, which means "I am that I am"

pretty sure Jehovah and Yahweh mean the same thing. both are translations of the tetragammaton YHWH; the original hebrew had no vowels, so it is debated today which pronunciation is correct (most scholars seem to lean towards Yahweh since there was no "j" sound in ancient hebrew). this is probably all really useless info. but i offered it anyway. ha! Luckily I got so see them in concert when they opened for Taking Back Sunday 2009 It was love at first listen. I love this song. His voice is one of kind ❤️ awesome performance they gave.

I got to see Anberlin in concert in Albuquerque and they were amazing... My favorite band of all time and I am very sad to see them go. They were all down to earth and really cool guys. Them leaving is like someone close to you dying for me... I don't know what I will do without them when they are completely done but im privileged to have seen them regardless.

The replay button better be ready, it's gonna be a looooooonnnnggggg night

I was listening to this whole album in high school, way before it even came out.

Not one bad album put out, ever, by these guys. New Surrender might be seen as their lowest album, but seriously those songs are epic in their own rights.

2002- Forever, you guys will always have my heart.

When I feel like I’m about to lose control or I have some problem that is soffocating me, I come to this song ...it helps me to release everything out ...the music, repeat the lyrics many times in my head and scream the chorus, just all I need in those moments.

Anberlin is amazing, I love music that sounds like this. If you like Anberlin you should check out the band "Red"

Just barely missed my top 5 favorite songs off the album but I still think this is a great song. This song can easily get you pumped up for a major event especially considering the fact that this song has what is in my opinion the most epic chorus on the entire album. This song reminds me of what it would be like to have schizophrenia and as the song says "hear voices in my head" no offense whatsoever to those who have schizophrenia.
