Such a beautiful skater. I'm just hoping this is the first competition of the season blues for Anastasia. This is probably the worst she has ever skated to win first place. But she's had such a tough career with so many things going against her from her junior days in Russia that Nastya deserves all the breaks she can get.

I'm curious why she does a layback spin if it isnt a requirement for the women anymore. It looks like it hurts her back, and I don't think she does enough positions for a level 4. Could someone explain to me please?
