My favorite character in AnoHana is Naruko "Asaru" Anjou and it kills me when Jinta doesn't notice her. Ugh Boys are so oblivious!

Jinta loves the menma and has no obligation to love anaru or return their feelings. She is an insistent who wants to force jinta to stay with her. Anaru had to respect the feelings of jinta and not want to change them by force.

Kiritsugu Emiya this comment is a year old but whatever lol. Jinta had to eventually move on from Menma. It’s likely in the end if you use your imagination that Anaru and Jinta would get together. A lot of people would agree with me too. Apparently I’ve heard that they did in the movie, although I’m not sure since the movie isn’t available in my country.

I feel so much for Anaru.I wish they had more time to wrap up the series though, I was hoping we'd get to see more development between Jinta and Anaru romantically - the ending just seemed too rushed with them sobbing their hearts out for Menma one moment and then just bang! it's implied they're together at the end.

She does not respect jinta's feelings and wants to force him to be her boyfriend, instead of moving on and faezr other esoclhas want to force the jinta to choose- She is to blame for his suffering towards jinta for being too insistent . The best ending would be jinta meeting and forming a couple again with Menma's re-enactment.

It isn’t implied they’re together, Jintan just apologizes for rejecting her how he did, and returned her little handkerchief back, which is probably good since Anaru never respected the fact that Jintan didn’t like her back and his heart still laid somewhere else.

It fucking super hard coming from experience to watch it the love of your life love your friend, she is human but she loves menma too, she had the right to admit her feelings as menma was gone and ofc hurt over the rejection, this isn’t some Normal rejection, it’s the love of ur life we r talking about, using that logic they all are selfish as they admitted

In the Movie, I was told Jintan and Anaru are seen together most of the film(Epilogue) there is even a scene of them at a karaoke. Though they are not together "officially" It shows that Jintan has moved on but is taking things slow with Anaru which is one of her problems in a letter she is writing to Menma because she wishes it would move faster but she then decides to be by his side and to not be in a hurry and that eventually everything will work itself out. So I say they are on there way :)

I like jintan x menma. they love each other, but the sad truth is that, menma is dead many years ago and jintan can't move on. he stuck in the past, messed up his life for menma and I don't want that part. anaru is the best for jintan. anaru always love jintan no matter what, she will do anything for him, she even enrolled to low level school for jintan, and helped him to get a job. jintan wasting his time, I know he's better than yukiatsu, he's smart too, athletic and adventurous, he's just suffering from depression and social anxiety mainly because of her mom died and menma too, he wasted his life to a dead girl. I love menma but I love jintan too, I want him to finished his study, become as good as or even better than yukiatsu, and I think anaru is the best for him. he should move on and fixed his life. Anaru will help him to forget menma. anaru knows the best for him, menma will never returned to life, just accept it and I think menma will agree to that jintan should move on , she's the one who encouraged jintan to go back to school. menma will accept anaru as her replacement for jintan because menma loves everyone, they're friends, she knows how much anaru loves jintan, and anaru asked her permission to love jintan. I want Anjou to be with jintan, I want them to be happy, I want jintan to be happy and move on from the past, learn to forgive himself and accept the reality. Anaru is the way to ease his pain and forget menma. I saw anaru's love, care and sincerity to jintan that's why I really like them end up together.
