Brahmins follow certain tradition and learning and knowledge gathering etc. etc. before becoming priests. Not all Brahmins can become priests. If others want to become priests, then they also should go through the difficulties of a Brahmin priest, learn Vedas, Sanskrit, gather the knowledge, follow the tradition.
